  • Triple A-OKAY 65% keyboard from Womier
Color: Silver
If you are anything like me always trying to free up desk space and need a versatile keyboard that will work with more than a desktop or laptop, is at home with Win/IOS/Android you can get this and not worry that you spent your grocery budget for a sweet keyboard to game on. The S-K65 is a tri-mode wireless/wired with an all aluminum case that comes with a few colors to match up with your theme. It has hotswap sockets so you can replace the switches if they are not your preference but they do feel well lubed to type on and are giving a very nice sound. I do not think it's an office space sharing keyboard but it's also not a super loud monster either. It could never be described as a silent keyboard so if you want to take it with you to work you'd do every one a favor by swapping the switches to something more quiet. The stabilizers are very good too and not in the least bit rattling or annoying which means I do not have to take them out to lube them. Yay for me. And I like that the keycaps are cherry profile because it is what I like most and they are shine through so the RGB looks great on this board. As mentioned this S-K65 is wired/wireless tri-mode and you have 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth with a 3750Mah battery. The keyboard goes to sleep if not used for a couple minutes and into hibernation if not used for at least 30 minutes. So that way it saves draining the battery and wakes up when you start typing again. I gamed over the weekend using only the wireless 2.4Ghz with the RGB on the entire time I played and I had plenty of battery left Monday morning. I really did not think I'd be this good but this keyboard is no slouch and it is impressive to say the least. The user guide would be better if it was bigger but it passes because it is readable and separated by language and not hard to follow. If you are used to full size keyboards it may take a bit to get familiar with the smaller board FN shortcuts but it is not impossible to learn, and you get used to it pretty easily. I'd complain that the keyboard does not have QMK/VIA compatibility but the Womier makes decent software for the keyboard and it works for what you need. Really it's just for mapping keys, setting macros and adjusting RGB lighting. Also RGB can be changed with FN shortcuts, there is no need to use software for this. People do rightfully complain that the on/off switch is under the tab keycap but you can flip it on and not have to worry about it again. It is annoying that Womier designed it like this but it is not a deal breaker for me, in my opinion. For others it is and I get it, ya know but whatever. It has so much going for it that I'm not moaning over a hidden switch. I however do wish they had given us QMK/VIA and I also know the price would jump up quite a bit and I would still buy this keyboard. Maybe Womier could produce a second version S-K65 with QMK/VIA and give us a choice. Just an idea if they are listening. As well, the elephant in the room is tapping me on the shoulder, and yes I know that some are saying this is a clone of the Sugar65. Basically all keyboards are copying each other now and it does not really matter to me. It is what it is and I'm not losing any sleep over a keyboard, I just can't be bothered with all that. If you're thinking of a 65% keyboard then this is one that I cannot find much bad to say because there just isn't a lot of negatives here. It is a great solid multi-use keyboard that I enjoy using very much and I will keep using it because it loves being here with me. ... show more

  • Truly a great keyboard. No Regrets.
Color: Creamy White
There are many great things to share about this keyboard. I personally have tried most of the worthwhile mech keyboards amazon offers and this one near, if not at the top of my list of 65’s. Why? You buy it and you’re done. The switches have a such a great Feel and sound to them, I stopped using my favorite ones. (IKR? My baby kangaroos miss me too) In addition, the sound of the keyboard is crisp, defined, pleasing and confident.. As for the Looks, Im a keyboard fan and its my hobby, thus it’s easy to change the keycaps and the nob to something you prefer. This is a keyboard that worth doing that on. Functionality wise, it’s easy for me to switch between my PC to a Mac with it and its user manual addresses its programming with how to change what you might see as flaws into a better experience. It’s very well thought out. For instance, who cares where the power switches leave it on all the time. Love a little. There’s warning lights and a battery meter if needed. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because they missed an opportunity to deliver it with QMK firmware and VIA program ability. Also, the stock nob is not very attractive and they seem to used the same one on all color variants which is not a great match. Get this board, it’s great! ... show more

  • Amazing for entry into the MK hobby.
Color: Black
This keyboard has a lot to be said, and honestly all minus a few caveats are positive and great! Firstly, I'll talk about the build quality. This keyboard is basically a fully prebuilt version of a very popular barebones keyboard known as the Lucky65 (reason for the backplate being what it is), and that already is an amazing barebones that checks so many boxes for a keyboard to be very sound (heft, aluminum build, volume knob, proper sound dampening insides, etc.) and not to mention its gasket mounted!! However, Womier has taken another step further to make this such a great purchase. Secondly, lets talk about the switches. Now normally when I get a prebuild, the first thing I do is replace the switches as normally they put some run of the mill unlubed switches that sound... sub-par at best. In this case (no pun intended) that did not happen. What happened was that I was presented with switches that offer a sound that I could only describe as the inbetween of clacky and thocky with a hint of marbly. Note that the sound is louder than the average thocky sound profile so unless you change the switches to maybe a silent switch or a set of WS Morandis, use in an office at your own risk. Now for the stabilizers (for those who are new, basically the outer parts of the longer keys on your keyboard). I was blown away by this keyboard in that there was NOT. A. BIT. OF. RATTLE. Not one bit. This kind of tweaking on stabs can only be found in either ultra high cost prebuilds or ultimately a custom built that you tweak yourself. This adds on to the keyboard sounding so SO buttery smooth. Now for the bad parts, which CAN be deal breakers for some, but probably not for most. First thing is the placement of the wireless switch. The placement though makes the keyboard look much cleaner on the outside... WHY must it be under the tab key? Yes you can argue that you can just flip it on once and forget it but I can honestly say it took me a little bit to figure out it was there. Second, since this keyboard has a very sleek casing, there isn't a place to put the 2.4ghz dongle. For people that will use this keyboard to travel, this might be an issue as this could easily be lost, however for me this will stay connected to my desktop so YMMV. Last, which is the biggest issue... the wireless connectivity. Doesn't happen TOO often but sometimes I notice that it just gets stuck on one key and spams it and you gotta take a sec for it to stop and continue typing. I haven't tried using the BT mode, so not sure if it happens then, however for people who ONLY use wireless... this might be a dealbreaker. Again, since I'm on a desktop this isnt too much of an issue as I can just connect a USB-C cable and problem solved. Now in my personal opinion the pros vastly beat the cons to the point that I could for my own experience confidently rate this a five star rating, though I can see this being a solid four or four and a half. I totally recommend this keyboard for those that want to at least start the keeb hobby with a solid keyboard. ... show more

  • Stopped working after a week of having it
Color: Black
At first I loved the keyboard. Then over the past few days I’ve noticed it started to glitch, no big deal, but now it does not work at all! Horrible.
