They're the only western style work boot that I can wear without killing my feet and back. They are sized a little big. I could have bought a half size qsmaller and they'd fit perfectly. Not a big deal because they still wear fine. I would have given 5 stars if they fit perfectly.

I had a pair of these a few years ago and they were my favorite boots. Partially because they were the only ones that I could find to fit me. I have weird shaped feet. After about 2 years of use the sole started falling off and I tried gluing it but the glue wouldn't hold, and they ended up getting tossed. I regretted that tbh. I went about a year without cowboy boots and have recently wanted to get these again but couldn't remember my size. I ordered 4 different sizes and finally found a pair that fit, so I'll have to take pictures to remember which ones to order again in the future. I'm not a fan of "western" style boots, and have only worn a pair of "cowboy boots" once and hated them. I got these because My daughter's wedding is "Country" themed and the men in the wedding party all need to wear square toe cowboy boots. I ordered these a couple months ago tried them on and they fit, now they've been in the closet for a few months. Coming up on the wedding date, and time to wear them a bit to break them in. So far, they're pretty comfortable - not that I'm actually wearing them as work boots at this point. The plan is that after the wedding, they will become yard shoes and be used for work around our property. I'm still a lace-up work boot guy, but will see how these hold up - the selling point for me is that I don't have to tie or untie them when I take them off to go in the house, pull on and pull off. Will update next spring after they see some mud and snow here in upstate NY Update: treated with mink oil, handled Upstate NY winter just fine. Well broken in now, wearing them pretty much every day October into May and am glad to have them. Would wear them all summer, except my wife would disown me if she catches me in shorts with cowboy boots lol. I'll wear them whenever I'm wearing jeans. Comfortable durable work boots. I love Ariat so much.. However I wanted a work that was comfortable without spending $170 I got these boots at $105 And they are well worth the money. If they were priced higher than $120, I would have spent the extra to go Ariat. Never owned Wolverine pretty impressed so far.

My son has been searching for these type of boots, in store, for months. I finally convinced him to try them from Amazon and he couldn’t be happier. Exactly as expected and wanted but for a better price. 5/20 Just wanted to add an update so people can make an informed decision before buying. These boots are not worth the money you pay! I originally gave these a 5 star rating, however, we had to have these boots replaced TWICE! First time was maybe 2 months in and the leather started separating from the base. We contacted Amazon, who then directed us to Wolverine. They immediately had us take pictures and send it to them and they asked us to pick out 3 replacement boots w/sizes so they could send replacement (they ask for 3 just in case first choice(s) aren’t available), but before they send them out, you have to cut the boots to make them unwearable and send those pictures in so they know you have destroyed them. The whole process was fairly quick, so for that, I gave the 1 star because customer service was quick to address and replace them. However, the second pair of boots did basically the same thing and that was just a few weeks after replacements arrived. I understand the possibility of 1 defective pair but 2?!? Nope! That’s just poor workmanship and that’s a shame! Spending $100 on a pair of boots should guarantee you some sort of quality! My husband buys his work boots at Walmart for about $40 and yes, he does have to replace them every 6-8 months but I would expect that for the price. I do NOT accept that for $100 boots that don’t even last for 2 months! Plus, my husband’s boots need to be replaced because the soles wear out, not because they come apart! I would NEVER buy another Wolverine product! ... show more

    • Look good, runs big and wide, scrapes my calf

I usually wear a 11 1/2 to 12. I had to go down to a 11 and add a very thick insole with arch support. After this it felt great until it started to scrape my calf. Very uncomfortable but this eventually went away as it broke in.
