  • Takes a beating
Size: 8 Color: Black
Been wearing these shoes for the last year for work in EMS and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality. The fit is great, with a wide toe box and secure around the heel/ankle. I’ve yet to get a blister, even while I was the breaking them in (which took about a month of daily wear and use). They are very easy to polish and keep clean. Not the lightest boot, with the majority of the weight being concentrated at the sole/midsole. Has a propensity to chip off pieces of the toe. Is not super breathable and tends to lock in smells. Never noticed any issues with the safety toe. Overall is amazing for the price, particularly the comfort. If I can ride a skateboard to work in them, handle a mile run in them, and easily manage puke in them, then I consider them to exceed my expectations. ... show more

  • Good Boot for the Money, Need an Insole, Some Mfr'ing Flaws
Size: 13 X-Wide Color: Black
Bought these for a riding boot, always hard to find durable extrawide footwear to keep my skin on in case of a crash. In GA weather they have been fine in summer and autumn, unsure how they'd be where it gets really cold. Comfortable on the top and sides of the foot, but the insole that comes in the boot is basically nonexistant. Started getting arch cramps immediately, so I added an aftermarket insole and this works fine. Certainly a cheaper solution than some higher end boots with cork insoles and the like. Boot is attractive and have got several compliments on them - glad I picked a model where the branding is more subdued than some of their more overtly branded designs. Leather has held up pretty well to wear and tear, slight marking on the left from toeing the gear shifter but nothing major. Waterproofing has worked great in crappy weather. First time I went to pull up the heel of one of the boots by the boot loop, though, the end of the loop pulled out immediately with a minimum of pressure. Boot wasn't laced up very high and laces were loose in the grommets. From the end that pulled out it looks like it was held in only with a little adhesive and no stitching to retain the end of the loop. Contacted Wolverine to see if they'd do anything to make that right, but haven't heard back from them yet. ... show more

  • Comfortable and Sturdy
Size: 11 Color: Dark Brown
These work boots fit comfortably right out of the box. They appear to be well-made. There are no loose seams or attachment points. The leather looks and feels good. The lacing pattern of eyelets plus hooks is easy. The toe box is roomy, and the steel does not intrude on the foot space. After a couple of days, they were my new "old reliable" boots. ... show more

  • Forklift Certified
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown
I would like to formally forklift certify these boots. My boyfriends foot got run over by a forklift while working and after a visit to the ER he was all good. No broken bones, no amputated toes, just some swelling and pain for a couple days. I highly recommend these boots. Unfortunately they're unusable after the accident, waiting for his work to reimburse us for a new pair. ... show more

  • Most comfortable steel toe boot ever!
Size: 11 Color: Black
Soft and comfortable the first time you put them on. Almost like wearing safety "slippers" on the job. Bargain price as well.

  • Good boots, little break in.
Size: 12 X-Wide Color: Black
I didn't expect much for the price but man was I wrong. They break in very very fast with minimal blisters unlike a lot of boots in this price range. Laces are durable and long enough. I actually lost the pain in my left foot switching to these boots. They could use better insoles though as these somewhat feel like cardboard kinda but after using them for a month or so I don't notice it unless I'm walking on the grated platforms at work, I can feel them through the soles. Can't feel stepping on rocks though, weird. Probably because of the tread design. 10/10 for me though. Would buy again for my next pair. ... show more

  • They are cheap boots that work very well but they have major long term durability issues
Size: 11 Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I bought these boots on October 13th and at the time was really impressed by them. They kept my feet dry even when walking through heavy water all day when my other co-workers couple hundred are boots were getting wet and they look sharp and felt really good with the insoles that I bought online for $20. On October 27th I bought another pair so that I could Wear one one day and then the next day wear the other while the previous days was drying and I then got a boot dryer so I could dry them out every night. On November 28th I decided to make an update because some things happened that changed my opinion of the boot. Heres the update "now November 28th and the oldest pair of boots already has a hole in the insole and the weather is starting to come up from the insole. " I have this toe protection glue I bought off Amazon and decided to use that to try to fix the seams on these boots to keep them going. I've done that with pretty good results as I still wear the boots everyday to work. Lately I've noticed that were the heel is in the boot has like this piece of firm hard plastic inside that is gotten bent in. Hard to explain so I'll upload a video to this review. I also post pictures of how I attempted to fix the issue of the shoe detaching from the sole. ... show more
