I was super excited to get this for my son’s room but highly disappointed!!!! The wood is very cheap and will break when you try to screw . Very unbalanced. The draws are great though and I wish I was able to use it sad. Had to trash it

    • Nice bedroom TV Stand - but the odor....

This item arrived solidly packaged and protected in its box. All items are clearly labels as to part number (even the hardware!) making assembly fairly easy. While the included directions state a phillips head screw driver is not included - it is actually on the one side of the allen wrench - so everything you need to assemble is right in the box. This dresser went together smoothly and took me (with a bit of help from an adult daughter) a couple of hours to assemble. While I unpacked and assembled, I did not find any odor to this unit. The directions do say that if there is an odor, let the pieces/item air out for a few days. With the finished piece ready, we carried it into my room and placed it. Plugging it in, adding my TV and then items into the drawers was smooth and the unit looks lovely in my room. However, when I went into my room to sleep that night, the odor coming from the unit was gagging. It is not a terrible odor - it smells much like new pressboard. I wasn't upset since the directions did advise there might be an odor, so I slept elsewhere that night. The next day, the smell was there, still too strong to sleep in the room (and this is with open windows). Finally, on night three, the smell had dissipated enough that I could sleep in my room. While still there, it was no where as strong. I just hope the clothes I placed in some of the drawers have not picked up that odor. So because of the length of time it is taking for the smell to clear - I deduct one star from an otherwise great product. ... show more

I am using the TV stand/dresser in my studio. It has lots of storage drawers, I was able to get rid of a lot of my totes. Now the room looks more organized and put together. I set my small TV on the top and the dresser is still sturdy and looks great.
