Fits my 2012 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l perfectly. Unfortunately it was shipped this time in just a bubble pack envelope. The flimsy cardboard product box was destroyed and the filter was loose on the envelope. Fortunately the filter and the gasket appear undamaged. I've watched plenty of reviews on different filters where they take out the filter media inside the canister. These wix filters ( the XP versions) have something a little tougher than the regular paper media inside most filters. I assume it's to withstand the high temps for longer than conventional filter media. I trust this brand and model for both my luxury SUV and my domestic full size truck. So far the SUV has 180k+ on it and the truck has 215k+ on the odometer. I always change the filter every oil change, and basically cut the manufacturer's interval recommendation in half. I've never had any canister failures, gaskets stick to the blocks or anything. I recommend these to friends and family when asked. ... show more
