  • Quality product that performs as advertised.
A quality filter system is an important component needed to extend engine performance and life span.

  • Direct OEM match....
Purchased for a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5l. The car lost the oil sending unit, bled out, was driven 10mi with near no oil and now makes some valve noise. I went with the K&N here because I trust the brand (LONG time air filter user with literally dozens of purchases) and want to be 100% certain that there is as little restriction in flow as possible without sacrificing too much filtering capacity. Coupled with a high quality synthetic oil and Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer, I am hopeful I can keep the now loose top end lubed enough to stop or slow its self abuse, even if she is now a touch of a diesel sounding rattle monster. Next oil change may have to be to a heavier oil. We'll see.... Back to the filter. Exact match to OEM. Like the other brands for this model, it comes with new O-rings for the high pressure bypass valve and the filter cap. Also includes a new aluminum drain plug washer. Tech tip - put some grease on the filter cap O-ring - it makes removal for the next oil change a LOT easier! ... show more

  • Filter on a Budget
You can tell as soon as you pull the filter out of the box that this has budget filter written all over it. Not the quality I was expecting with K&N on the box. Compared to the OEM filter, Fram and some other popular competitors, this one has thinner plastic ends and thinner paper media. Even the box is tell-tale, it says "silver-line" which I take to mean "cheap", and the graphics are rather pixelated and low quality. Silver-line is not advertised in the product description, so I feel a bit deceived given that I purchased a "K&N Premium Oil filter" (straight from product title.) I can say with confidence that this is not K&N's premium line of oil filters. I've used other cartridge filters of theirs (that were not their Silver Line) and they compare well to OEM quality; not this one. Now that that's out of the way, there's nothing about it that would make me hesitant to use it-- it's a serviceable oil filter and not so cheap that I feel it's going to fall apart in use. But I'm definitely not going over the recommended oil change interval with it! For what it's worth, there's no country of origin printed anywhere on the packaging or filter itself, which I'm fairly certain is a violation of US trade/import laws. Box says to refer to product for country of origin, but the filter has no markings whatsoever. ... show more

  • Perfect for 2018 Kia Sedona
Perfect for 2018 Kia Sedona! O ring for the filter and washer for the drain bolt are included.

  • K&N PS-7030 vs Wix WL10164
I've always been a Wix fan so I'm admittedly a bit biased. Comparing the Wix and the K&N side by side, they look extremely similar. I'd guess that they're made in the same factory. Both are made in South Korea. The only difference I can see and feel is that the K&N media seems a bit more cardboard-like. It feels cheaper. I'll probably stick with Wix in the future but the K&N seems like a decent option; it's better than the filters with black plastic endcaps on both top and bottom (typically made in China and a cheaper feeling build quality). ... show more

  • Look no further for your 2016 Kia Sedona
To those looking for a well-priced aftermarket oil filter for their 2016 Kia Sedona (or other year models using the same oil filter), this one is pretty damn good. While there are many who use this for other makes and models and say the crush type washer being too small, for the '16 Sedona, it's practically an exact 1:1 copy. That is a HUGE plus not having to source the drain plug washer elsewhere. The O-ring is also a perfect fit and from the looks of it a 1:1 replacement as well. The nipple plugs in snuggly. Just be careful when pushing it down as to not crush the filter vertically. I do my oil change for all my cars (as well as previous cars I've owned) and I've stuck with K&N mainly for the good-to-above-average filtering performance as well as the price. This model is perfect for the '16 Sedona. ... show more

Fit both 2013 and 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe with 3.3L engine, really like the fact that this filter comes with crush washer for drain plug, first time I've every hsd one included with the filter usually separate item. Easy install now we see how stand up over the period of time until next oil change. If they perform well will definitely purchase again. ... show more

  • Excellent filter
First K&N filter I used was their engine air filter around 1995 in a 95 Mustang GT so this was a pretty natural seeing those were excellent filter's. Have since switched to all filters from K&N engine and have been quite happy. Up until the first oil change was getting 18 (2016 Hyundai Azera Limited) around town but since changing I'm getting 21-23. Car is a lease that we plan on keeping so all filters will be K&N seeing how they are life time or 100.000 miles. Have since returned to dealer to have that free 6 month check up and they are quite happy we're using quality filters. ... show more
