The installer made a make-shift door in the side of the seat base that never fit right or kept the under-seat area closed or secure. My wife and I purchased an old 1985 Weeres pontoon. It had NO seats at all when we purchased it. We have bought 4 of these bases, along with the matching attaching seats. They are super easy to put together with the seat top. They are light and have great storage under the seat within the base.

I purchased this with Wise seats cushions thinking it would be an easy bolt together, I was wrong, I made it work but would have liked better information as I would have done something differently. Maybe they have different versions or a new and old style, but make sure you know what your getting as making it work was a pain... ... show more
