  • Very responsive and works with HA and zigbee2mqtt
This works very well, battery has lasted a long time as well. I run two networks through zigbee2mqtt and this works no problem with all functions registering. It doesn't fit in with the size/style of my US switches but that is not a huge problem for me

  • I wish it didn't need the hub
Product is great for our guest room where the light switches and fan control are on the other side of the room. Once I got the hub setup I was able to program these specifically for the room. Now my guests can remove the buttons and comfortably control the atmosphere of their stay. Perfect for the middle-of-the-night get ups. I just wish it didn't need the hub. It adds a little more than 5 seconds to control non zigbee hub items as it needs to hand off the command to the next "smart" function. Edit: I was able to optimize my configuration using Home Assistant. My hub was immediately discovered and configured in HA. Once I put the button into pairing the hub also immediately saw it and HA allowed me to configure it. (hold down button one and two for 8 seconds) Each button has press, double press, and long press options. HA also sees the battery level. I was able to get my lights to respond within a second now. ... show more

  • Easy setup and works great with Hubitat
This switch works exactly as expected, and I had it paired to Hubitat a few minutes of opening the box. Hubitat used the built-in Tuya Zigbee Scene Switch driver automatically, all I did was tell it to add a Zigbee device, and it added it and found the driver for it. Buttons are very easy to press and they respond instantly. I am using this switch to control the fan speeds on a Zigbee-converted Hood Fan over my stove, so I now have off, low, med, and high buttons for direct control. ... show more

  • Good feeling button and click feedback
I've replaced my Shelly Blu 4 button switches with these and they feel much better. No problem setting up with Home Assistant directly and programming.

  • Works well with Home Assistant
I like to keep scene controllers around my beds and sofas, and like having multiple buttons (one is never enough). The best device I’d found in the past was the Sengled E39-G8C, but that device has battery drain issues and is also I think discontinued. This Blindsmart branded scene controller has four buttons and uses zigbee , my preferred home automation protocol. It paired with no trouble at all to Home Assistant via a Nortek USB dongle, and Home Assistant recognized all of its events out of the box (unlike the similar Sengled device). Tap, double tap, and hold all worked well, though the hold time for tap-hold is long enough that I don’t use it. The CR2450 battery is pretty standard, and I buy them 20 at a time for dirt cheap on Amazon for many devices anyway. So far battery life has been excellent; after over a month, the battery still reports 100% (if you believe it anyway). I keep it about three yards from the nearest routable Zigbee device in my mesh, getting 112/255 signal (about normal for a coin battery device) and it has had no cutout or lag issues. This all contrasts with my experience with the Sengled device which it cuts out frequently and goes to full radio strength when it does, eating the battery. Between the very similar devices, the Blindsmart device wins hands down. The Sengled remote is smaller, not an issue if you’re actually using the wall plate but making the remote a little cumbersome for the Blindsmart device. I have not seen any other similar four-button zigbee remotes available, but this one works well enough that I may get more, especially if I can catch a sale—the normal price is more than twice what I paid for the Sengled devices. ... show more

  • Convenient 4-button zigbee remote
Given the size, I wish this remote were powered by a more common battery like a AAA, but at least it includes a lithium button battery. It paired easily and is working well with Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant. Overall it is a convenient switch. I have not been able to test if the double/triple press differentiation works in Zigbee2MQTT as it supposedly does when paired with a Tuya Zigbee Hub. ... show more

  • Could be better
This was easy to setup using ZM2QTT and Home Assistant and everything was immediately recognized. I was able to use a blueprint to easily setup all 4 buttons for click, double-click and hold actions. My two gripes are the buttons are really easy to accidentally press and you have to hold the button for about 5 seconds for the "hold" action to activate. The remote works but just feels a little cheaply made. ... show more

  • Solid Zigbee Scene Controller
This 4-button Zigbee remote is a great addition to any smart home setup. It pairs seamlessly with platforms like Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, and Tuya, making setup quick and easy. The buttons are responsive, and features like tap, double-tap, and hold work as advertised, though the "hold" action takes a bit longer to register than I’d prefer. Battery life has been excellent so far, and the CR2450 battery is easy to replace. My only complaint is that the buttons are a bit too sensitive, leading to occasional accidental presses. The build feels slightly cheap but functional. Overall, this is a convenient and versatile device for managing scenes and smart devices. Recommended, especially if you catch it on sale! ... show more
