When my phone is placed in landscape orientation it doesn't charge my zfold 5. If I spin the anpules name upside down it does charge but then my volume button are covered and not accessible. Poor design and not worth the $$

From the beginning I was looking for a charger cradle for my desk that can handle my new Samsung Galaxy z fold 5. This item looked pretty cool and I like the spot for my Sony earbuds. This item works well when it works. I believe the wires that were sent with it are not quality and the small USB-C cable they give to connect the cradle to the main charging cable way too short. I feel the quality of the cords cause the cradle not to open and close at times, which also cause the cradle not to charge. Maybe if they changed the quality of cables, the item would get a higher rating. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to assemble the upper carrier onto the base arm. After I connected the cords to the base and to the upper carrier, plugging the device into an AC/USB-A adapter, then plugging it into the wall, the device was able to charge via the base and via the upper carrier. The upper carrier automatically opens when something is detected by the sensor located towards the top edge of the upper carrier. The side arms open for a few seconds, then close, to hold the device securely. To remove the secured device, press the button located towards the bottom of the upper carrier, and the arms will open. Finding that this carrier would wirelessly charge my phone, while in the upper carrier, was a total bonus. If I just want to charge a device over night, and quickly pick it up in the morning, I just place it on the lower charging base. I did find that I couldn't charge my iPad Mini and my iPhone, at the same time, but I do have an older iPhone. Not sure whether this would work with newer devices. The articulating arm allows for the lowering of the upper carrier for shorter people. The build quality is great and the fit and finish is on a very high level. I'm glad the base is pretty hefty since I accidentally hit the upper carrier and luckily the stand did not fall over. It just wobbled around a bit, then settled down. ... show more

The product looked really nice when it came out of the box. But upon using it, the phone is too heavy for the support. it drops every time! There are not any tightening bolts to fix that issue either.
