Last evening, I gave this product a three-star rating because I had a persistent leak between the tank and the bowl. This morning, I figured out the problem, which was of my own doing, and am upgrading my recommendation. When the tank hold-down screws and seals are properly installed, the leak disappears. Do not use an electric screwdriver to tighten any screws that have a seal on them. This drives one of the two screws fully down and slightly tilts the tank such that the seal on the other hold-down screw cannot fully seat. Each screw should be tightened a few turns alternately until they are full seated. The toilet is well designed and relatively easy to assemble (with the above note in mind). It also has everything (i.e., the main hold-down screws for the bowl section) out in the open where you can get at them. [The toilet this is replacing was a sleek modern design with the screws hidden. I eventually had to take a hammer to it to get at the base hold-down screw near the wall.] ... show more

    • Poor DIY design
The price was great! How ever, the DIY design was difficult to follow. this could have been designed much better. I am still dealing with a small tank leak.

    • Bad chain
Purchased this toilet in Dec 2022. Today 5/3/24 the chain on the flush handle to the flapper rusted into. Actually didn't get it installed until Feb '23. 15 months and the flush chain has rusted into. Everything else about this toilet seems to be great. .......... How can any manufacturer allow a toilet to be made with a chain that lasts only 15 months? If you decide to purchase this toilet, you would be wise to purchase also a stainless steel chain. ... show more
