I bought this to help organize my crafting materials. It is sturdy enough to hold both my.sublimation printer and heat press. My daughter and I had it built in just under an hour. We do build a lot of things for reference but it was a fairly easy build. The instruction book is crap. I will say that you have to kind of know how things go together. We threw it out because it may as well have been written in sandscript. The value for a piece of furniture that looks this nice built cannot be matched. This arrived timely and packaged nicely. It was terrible to assemble and the one small thing that would have made all the difference would be if they'd have labelled the parts. So simple, but would have taken this from a 3 star rating to a 5 star rating for me. It's not a fine piece of furniture but I didn't expect it to be. I'll be using it in my craft room to store sewing/crafting items and it will work fine for this. However it did cost enough that I don't think it would have been too much to ask for better instructions and LABELLING all parts! When you first get this sit down with the drawings and parts and try your best to figure out what is what and label them yourself. Don't forget the hardware, there are large and small sizes of the same hardware items and it's important. I did this but I still had a lot of trouble and it all boiled down to extremely poor instructions and no labels whatsoever. I'm not new to assembling things but this was very frustrating. I rarely write reviews but thought this one was worth it. I got this when it was on sale for $99. I was looking at similar ones for $150+, but glad I waited until this price dropped. Yes it’s a plywood cabinet so it’s not the BEST wood, but it does the trick. There’s a ton of little pieces and boards and the one con is that nothing is labeled. THAT SAID. Sit down, go through the list of parts, see that you have them and which pieces are which. If you need it, there’s a form to send in for replacement or more parts. I had all of my parts. This is definitely a couple hour project. It can get confusing if you don’t pay attention, but if you read through the parts list, look at the diagrams WELL (and many times per step in some cases), you’ll be fine. Nothing tripped me up that I couldn’t figure out. Go slow and pay attention and you’ll be fine. As for longevity, be nice to it. People give IKEA and plywood furniture a bad wrap but I have MANY pieces that have been through MULTIPLE moves and they’re all fine. This works exactly as I intended and would buy it again.
