I've taken some very hard shots with this headgear. It provides the best protection of any headgear I've used. It is also light weight. The trade off is that it is not easy to see low kicks. For boxing this gear is the best. I use it for MMA but sometimes switch to headgear with better visibility and less protection if I know the opponent has fast kicks. ... show more

    • Overrated and overpriced

The headgear works. I’m keeping it mainly cause I wore it not sure if even can return it. But it’s nothing great. It slips and slides very easily despite adjusting tightness to the max. Faceguard headgears are good but not sure if this one is worth it. Also, I still got a busted nose off a really hard straight right. So don’t think your nose is immune from bruising (and face savers do not limit brain damage any more than others). Overall with faceguards you will get hit with more punches btw. Your face is now a protruding target. So keep that in mind. Overall, I think winning needs to be exposed for their overpriced products that people pay simply because they see pro boxers wearing it (which is part of the marketing). ... show more

    • Protection has no price
I "almost" quit boxing due to the discretion of my doctor. My left eye vision was getting cloudy and he said I was getting cataracts at a young age. I researched and found out cataracts is just a build up of protein. When I get hit in the eye it shakes up and fogs my eye. Even though the eye doctor recommended surgery, I disagreed because it would clear up after about a week with no sparring. I bought this and tried it in sparring and after getting used to it, I wish I bought it sooner. I spar pros in the bay area, most Oakland and San Jose. I don't compete, I just like to train. But I also value my health. Get this if you're a heavier weight class to protect your brain and vision. Your health has no price. The expense is way less than the long term medical issues you'll have without it. ... show more

I've been boxing for 11 years and I must say this is by far the best headgear money can buy! ive tried literally every brand from Cleto Reyes to Rival, without a doubt this is the most uniquely built. I recommend this headgear to all fighters or beginners. Another thing the shipping was so fast you couldn't believe it was actually at your door. Pros - Amazing cushioning you can barely feel punches -Very comfortable and and customizable/adjustable to your head -good vision, i have no problems seeing with bar for boxing however its personal preference -All Vinyl fake leather, very easy to clean as sweat is not absorbed and can be wiped off, but vinyl can be a double edged sword see cons Cons -Expensive as hell, only worth investment if you box for a long time and spar lots -with vinyl inside it slips slightly quite often (not a lot but i do feel the need to move headgear back to center a few cm over every few punches which is quite annoying -chin strap needs to be tight or gear will move upwards, and chin strap chokes me a lot when i put it on very noticeable -for the price vinyl seems a bit ridiculous would rather have leather conclusion, worth investment if you plan to box for years, only had for a couple of weeks so cant judge on wear and tear and i am not aware of any warranty on this expensive product, i would try a friends winning first to see if you like but i think its worth the investment if you are an avid boxer and not a beginner ... show more

It literally does not get any better. I've used R2C and Reyes. Both are good but do not compare to this headgear. Winning is simply the best.
