When pouring shots you have to watch the machine because it does not have an auto stop feature. You cannot set it and forget it like a coffee machine

    • Nice, but faulty on first use (UPDATED)
It looked nice and neat. Not convinced so solidly built but hard to know. I made my first coffees with it. They were Lattes and tasted great. But while making our first coffees and the portafilter heated up, the handle detached from the metal part where the filter goes. Interestingly enough, a little later when it cooled down the handle remained firm inside so it seems the heat did it. Either way was very disappointing. I wanted to believe in this new product, but I was let down... UPDATE: I reached out to the company to complain about this and they sent me another machine. The customer service seemed good, but now there's an additional problem. The knob on the side doesn't work well and if you turn it too far, it won't froth/dispense water. The media could not be loaded. Saw this on Fat Kids Deal thinking it was a good deal… boy was I wrong. Wish I could give this crap no stars. It’s been blinking like this for 15 minutes then it turns off. I’ve done all the trouble shooting the guide recommended. Been using this for three days. I am disappointed that the machine cannot fully extract the liquid from the ground coffee beans. It makes dumping the ground coffee impossible. You have to manually scoop the grounds out when cleaning the cup. I used to make my espresso via a stove top coffee maker and the beans would always be almost dry after brewing. With this machine, I cannot even use the grounds for my plants because it is too wet. ... show more
