Soft, perfect coverage and protected my incisions from dirt, the sun, and lookey loos. It was nice not having my ugly scars exposed before they could heal some more. I didn’t wash them. I used them as disposable to ensure they fit correctly.

    • Exactly What I Wanted
Due to ongoing carpal tunnel issues, and a recent ulna fracture, I have to constantly wear a brace. They can get pretty nasty, especially when I wear lotion (dry skin), and washing isn't the best idea, given the hook-and-loop closures. I happened along this product and decided to give it a go. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! It provides the perfect, perfectly comfortable barrier between my hand and the brace. I saw a review that complained about the seam, but I am *super* seam sensitive (most often wear clothes inside-out bc seams bug me THAT much!!), and the seams are comfortable (even designed to be on the outside)!! The thumb is a bit long, but I just fold it back. I suppose I could trim it, but I didn't want to risk excessive unravelling. I've even (hand) washed the first one, and it is still quite usable!! The only thing I would change (in a perfect world) is the packaging. As I am very unlikely to use all 10 items at one time, a resealable package (rather than single-use plastic) would have been nice. I have a thumb in a splint from almost cutting it off on a table saw. Fit and quality is excellent! Even after wshing a couple of times they still fit good. Much better and cheaper than the ones from my physical therpist,

I had wrist surgery and needed something to wear under the splint. These were much better quality than what the doctor gave me to wear. Hold their shape and wash well too!

Size: M
My skin gets angry when I wear wrist braces for more than an hour. Painful texture and line imprints form, inner brace seams cause irritation, and some of my braces cause sensory discomfort due to wear they hit on my arm/wrist. These stockinettes add a thin layer and make braces slightly more bearable. The edges aren't hemmed, so they do form some scraggly pulls. The sparingly used flat seams, however, helps prevent discomfort. The webbed fabric is pretty darn thin. Its texture isn't too bothersome or itchy. If you overheat like I do, you'll probably still have some sweating happen. The stockinettes don't provide cushioning (though the listing doesnt claim they do), and I prefer the smooth fabric of a different Wilcom liner I have, but these feature more coverage. They have some stretch and I like that I can pull them towards my inner elbow more to avoid wrist rubbing. I haven't trimmed mine, but it would be easy to make adjustments if needed. While these don't completely prevent discomfort braces can cause, they're better than nothing! They're versatile and last a decent amount of time with repeat usage and hand washing.
