This is a great product that is very comfortable to wear. If you get the right size. I had to return the original delivery because though I checked the right size I left the page to see something about the product and when I returned the default size of medium which for me was too small had been elected. I didn't catch that The fabric is light, padded, I'm very comfortable. The length of the trough for your forearm varies according to the size that you order and the right size makes a difference. I bought this for my wife after rotor cuff surgery. The instructions on how to put it together were pretty bad. It took a while to figure out how all the straps were supposed to go on, but once that was figured out, it goes back on pretty easily and is more comfortable and less bulky than the one the dr gives you. ... show more

This sling was definitely not what I expected. It has almost no adjustability at all. The places where you would naturally like to adjust it, namely the main one over the shoulder, are actually stitched closed. Should be velcro there. Also for this reason, you have to place the sling over your head and shoulder then lift your arm into the sling support. Be aware if you have a painful shoulder injury and cannot move your arm away from your body except for a small degree (like a rotator cuff injury, for example), it is excruciatingly painful to put on.
