  • Works great for my dog
Size: 18 Pound (Pack of 1)
This works great for my dog that has food intolerances. Since being on Wild Earth he has solid stools (first time in his 5 yrs of life), is no longer gassy, he no longer needs to take Apoquel & Zyrtec (he'd been on both for 4 yrs), & he lost 10 lbs (he was overweight). He'd been on every food on the market for sensitive skin and stomach (prescription & non prescription); nothing worked until Wild Earth. He enjoys the treats also. My vet now recommends it to other clients because of the change he's seen in my dog. This costs about the same as the prescription food I was buying. Overall I am very happy with this product and so is my dog. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings Thus Far
Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
My dog was on a raw diet for about 6 years & then he was on Ollie and finally, homemade food. He loved all of them, but his vet wanted him to eat kibble again because his cholesterol was slightly on the higher side (he’s a 10 year old shihtzu.) I tried Fromm, which made him terribly farty & finally tried Wild Earth after having heard good things about vegan food for dogs. Perhaps my dog has been spoiled by his previous foods, but frankly, he is not a fan. I followed instructions to a tee and he would eat it well enough while his old food was mixed in. After it wasn’t, he takes a long time to finish his food & he’s after his 8 month old brother’s food because it smells better. For the number of people who rave about Wild Earth, I was hoping my dog would be in to it, but he simply isn’t. If anything, I’m wondering if it’s worth it to stress him out with food he simply is not sold on. The price is fine as far as I’m concerned—I was spending $100+/month on Ollie and the food I made really wasn’t any cheaper, so cost isn’t an issue. If you’re considering a vegan dog food, I will say this did cure his gas (thank god) and he seems to be doing well enough physically. On the other hand, the look on his face as he eats this is basically the look on my face when a friend suggests eating at a vegan restaurant… maybe it’s healthy, but you know it’s going to taste like crap. I feel bad for him, but want him to live as long as possible. I do recommend it in general, but I’m still trying to determine if it’s really the best thing for my dog. I’m also admittedly concerned about the increase in canine heart disease that can come from plant protein sources. I realise the link is in dogs predisposed, but since I don’t know, I have a somewhat uneasy feeling. I really want to like this & I want it to be healthy for my dog. He will definitely be finishing this bag, but I’m unsure about whether I will keep him on Wild Earth food. How much is the food genuinely beneficial & how much is simply clever & trendy marketing? I honestly wish I knew. ... show more

  • helped my furbaby
Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
it has helped my furbaby with his skin allergies. He would get rashes, hair falling out and everything. It would cost us hundreds of dollars of vet visits. now he is doing so much better. I did balk at the price but it is worth it, to me, if it helps my baby:)

  • Our Favorite For Years Now
Size: 18 Pound (Pack of 1)
My dogs (ages 11 and 8) have been vegan their whole lives and are super healthy and active. Don’t let anyone tell you dogs can’t be vegan, and don’t get hung up on that if you’re considering Wild Earth. There is plenty of protein and this food is way cleaner than the poor quality dead animals ground into most kibble. This brand also makes really good treats and supplements. I’m sad the price went up so much recently, but we’re rolling with it. We switched over from a different brand a few years ago, and ever since then my dogs have had much firmer, consistently healthier poops. In my opinion this dog food is way better for dogs, for farmed animal welfare, and for the planet. ... show more

  • Very expensive but no allergic reaction. Priceless.
Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have 2 energetic goldens, 1 or the other have been allergic to every commercial kibble. Have to give kudos, Wild Earth was the first that didnt cause some kind of issue. My dogs also stopped scratching their ears. No gastrointestinal issues either. I feed a blend of Wild Earth & fresh stuff and they're doing great. Yup, way too expensive but it's the first kibble that didn't cause allergies so I guess I will just suck it up. To those reviewers mentioning DCM links from grain free food, that has been disproven from lack of evidence. And there are also no GMO's in this food. Makes me wonder if you work for one of the other main stream brands? ... show more
