We put this rug out on our pool deck. It looks good and appears to made of a material that should last a while. But the rug is thinner than we expected. It came folded into an unbelievably small package that we didn't realize was our rug when it was delivered. After many weeks on the pool deck in both rain and hot sun, the creases from all those hard folds during shipping are still visible. This product would be much better if it was rolled for shipping rather than being folded to the size of a lunch pale. ... show more

It's a nice ground cover. It even has loops at each corner for use on grass/sand/dirt if you want to secure it. I use it on my outdoor porch under the rocking chairs. Without an outdoor rug, the rockers tend to mark up the porch floor, so this protects my floor and looks lovely. It easily hoses off and won't collect the dog fur and dust that a regular carpet will attract. It's exactly what I was looking for! It is plastic braided material (as the description says) and it does have folds in it when you open it up. But, neither of those things bother me. ... show more

The material is a very nice waterproof nylon type material. The only (major) complaint I have is that it isn't perfectly shaped. There are parts where the edges (which are supposed to be straight lines, obviously) get a little wonky and it looks pretty out of whack.
