    • A must have for any Spiderman fan. This is excellent quality! Would be best for 5-8 year olds.
I ordered this and it actually was not for Halloween. It is for a Christmas present because my grandson absolutely loves Spiderman. This isn't some knock off brand, it really is Marvel made by Hasbro. The quality is excellent! It is very easy to flip the switch on the side so that the eyes light up. So as I said that the quality is very good, this isn't some light weight flimsy mask. You have to take that into account for the age of the child that will be wearing this mask. It says ages 5 plus and I am guessing that is because the mask really is heavy and it isn't small for a small face. Because my 4 year olds face is a bit smaller, I will have to tighten the mask up and there is no padding on the inside nose or mouth area which is a bit concerning to me. My guess is that this mask would be best suited for children ages 5-8 years old. ... show more

    • Really interesting idea but could use some improvements
Overall this mask is actually really great. They lights dont shine directly in the wearers eyes, its VERY well constructed with a really durable plastic and the overall look is pretty amazing. For having batteries and moving parts I was expecting it to be heavier but the overall weight was fine. My 5 year old wore this and his head is average sized. He told me the forehead and nose parts hurt because there wasnt any cushioning and the part that sits on your nose is a hard molded plastic piece roughly shaped to sit on your nose. In order to actually get the mask to fit against the face without sliding around, it may have been better if this piece was recessed a bit so that the mask sat more snug on the face, plus adding soft foam padding for comfort. The straps work fine enough to hold it in place but any quick movement does cause it to start to slide which is the only point the weight negatively became a factor. Again a more snug mask or even the head straps sitting lower on the back of the head would have made this more snug and comfortable to wear. For a toy or part of a costume this is fine. Its well constructed and isnt goign to break even with rough children. Just a few design changes to increase comfort and fit would be appreciated so kiddos didnt have to take a break due to pain on the nose. ... show more

We got this for my youngest son, who is five. He loves ANYTHING Spider-Man, so getting this interactive mask was a no-brainer when I saw it! It's easy for him to put on and take off himself, he can open and close the eyes, so I am not worry about him not being able to see while he walks and plays, and best of all it is sturdy, so when he dropped it multiple times while wearing his other costumes, I didn't worry about it breaking. I got this for my son to wear with his spiderman costume. Very cool eyes light up, can flip a switch to lift eye covering to be able to see. Kinda bulky to wear. The size is adjustable but the mask itself is very wide.

My son is convinced that he IS Spiderman when he wears this mask. I can't blame him! The lights are super cool, and I love that the eyes also "open". It's the perfect size for my 5 year old.

This is a hard plastic mask that is not really one size fits all. It may not fit most toddlers' faces or heads, but maybe some older kids. The great thing about this mask is the light up eyes that can flip up out of the way to reveal your own eyes. Very cool. Not sure where to change batteries if the light goes out, but should last for a while. Plan to use it this season to have the big boy fit it with the rest of his costume. ... show more
