  • It's what I was looking for.
Muy buena calidad por el precio, necesitaba un dispositivo para poder conectar el wii a mi monitor del escritorio, y la verdad que me sorprendió, el cable es un poco corto pero por el precio esta bien, la salida de audio es muy buena también.

  • Out with the RCA
Televisions are phasing out RCA connections. Our TV has one set of RCA connections. But our VCR and our Nintendo Wii still work just fine. Rather than going back and forth between the two, we got this adapter. And it works great! Pros + Simple. Just plug it in to the back of the Wii and plug in the TV HDMI cable to the adapter. + Works. The Wii can now be HDMI cabable and can use it for many more years! + Fit. Fits perfectly. Not loose at all. Cons + Just because it's HDMI, doesn't mean it is now full HD. The quality of the picture is still 480p. The Wii gameplay will be exactly what you're already used to on an HD TV. ... show more

  • Does what it should
I like to use my wii and the old connectors of days past are just not compatible with many of the modern televisions. This has given me the ability to do HDMI out and has an audio jack as well. The hdmi cable with this isn't the longest so you may need to get another or if you have one you can always look at the unit without the cable. This is fairly priced compared to others and not a bad option depending on your needs. This is very simple to use, the HDMI adapter plugs into the Wii, pay attention to orientation and then plug your hdmi cord into the adapter and plug the other end into your hdmi of your monitor/tv whatever you are using. I'm content with my purchase. ... show more

  • Works great
This is so nice if you have a new TV that doesn't have the analog inputs anymore. The adapter does exactly what it says and allows you to plug the Wii into an HDMI port. It doesn't upscale the signal, but just being on an hd TV helps to make the picture seem better. This couldn't be simpler to use, and it's a great way to extend the usable life of your Wii. ... show more

  • Video resolution issues
I was excited to try out an HDMI adapter for my Wii hoping that it would modernize the video output. It introduced an unfortunate issue with video resolution when I attempted to play NES games purchased from Nintendo. I have been unable to find a way to display these particular games on my television, getting a no signal message. When I press home on my Wii controller I get video again. Wii disks & N64 games display fine. The RCA cables do not have the same display problems. I have a hard time deciphering whether the HDMI output provides a better picture than the RCA output which I suppose means that the video is about the same for me. Honestly I don’t think this adapter was worth it for me. ... show more

  • Works well, image isn't distorted
I have an old Wii and modern 4K TV. I also have Nintendo's component cable system, but it's limited to 480p. I wanted something that would upscale my Wii's output to at least 1080p to look better. My TV is cheap, it's just an Insignia Fire TV, but it's 70" and 4K so it's unforgiving with low resolution images (especially in its smaller viewing space). I decided to try this and it has worked well, though I wish it came with an audio cable. My TV reports that the image is 1080p and it looks better than having my Wii output 4080p through a component connection. I was surprised my TV even had component input, that's something most newer TVs don't have (my 2024 Samsung OLED doesn't have it). The image is still fuzzy, definitely upscaling from a 480p source, but that's about as good as it's going to get with Wii games outside of buying a Wii U and setting it to 1080p (which still has mixed results, I tried it). My only complaint is that this came with an HDMI cable but not an audio cable. The adapter has a 3.5mm output for stereo audio. The Wii was limited to stereo audio, so this isn't a problem. But including an inexpensive 3.5mm to stereo RCA cable would have taken this up another notch. Other converters in this price range come with all the cables you need. The included HDMI cable is fine, albeit bulky and not very flexible. Overall, this is a fine package that does the job. Just plan on spending another $5 for a 3.5mm to RCA stereo cable. ... show more

  • Great quality!
I love how this device is incredibly easy to use. Its really a plug and play solution. All you have to do is plug in the device into the rear port of the Wii and then connect your hdmi cable as you normally would. You don't need any power cord or any additional cords. However, if you have an external speaker you're interested in using, this device does include a audio jack port. For the price of this device, I highly recommend it. If you're a casual gamer who doesn't care about how crisp and enhance the image looks, this is the device for you. its worth the price point. ... show more

  • Easy to install
This HDMI converter was easy to install in the back of my Wii and connect to my TV with the included HDMI cord. There was no difference in the TV input from the original cord and switching to the converter. Playing the Wii is still fun as there is no lag in play and the resolution stayed the same.
