I remember one particularly windy day downtown when my lace front decided to stage its own dramatic exit. Mortifying! Since then, finding a reliable glue has been my holy grail. When this little package arrived, the sturdy box felt like it was safeguarding something truly precious, and the bottles themselves had a reassuring weight in my hand, hinting at the quality inside. I finally decided to try this "Wig Glue 1.28OZ" after a fellow wig enthusiast in an online forum swore it could withstand a gale. Plus, the promise of being waterproof was huge for my sweaty commute and those unexpected downpours. The glue itself has a thin, milky look when it comes out, and while the subtle, almost powdery scent was initially a bit stronger than I expected – almost like a promise of its holding power – it did dissipate quickly. It spread onto my hairline like a dream, and almost instantly, I felt a reassuring grip that I hadn't experienced since... well, maybe ever. That little knot of anxiety I usually carry around about my wig staying put just... vanished. Definitely love !! No weird smells to any of the products , the edge control holds all day no white cast LOVE THAT , easy to learn how to use especially with the removal lace I didn’t know that existed but it made it come off so easy all my edges are intact lol 5 stars

The glue is just ok. It doesn’t perform that well in my opinion. I used this product to secure my male hair system that has a lace base to my bald head. I shaved my head prior and prepped it with rubbing alcohol. Then I applied two thick layers of the glue until it was tacky. Then I applied the wig. The wigs adherence using this glue on day one, I would rate 7/10. On day two, I would rate the adherence a 6/10. And day 3? Forget about it. You definitely have to remove and reapply by day 3. Also on day 2, the glue started becoming itchy to me. The price is good considering all of the products that come in the kit. I can’t speak to the other hair products such as edge control etc since I didn’t use those. Overall, the glue isn’t anything special. I don’t recommend for or against this product. I’m not quite a novice but not quite a pro at gluing down wigs. However I found the wig glue easy to use and apply. It dries quickly so there barely any wait time between applying the glue and then lace. However, removal continues to be an issue. The removal liquid has a heavy smell of chemicals. The glue also is hard to remove as well. I’ve attempted to use the provided glue remover, oil, water, and isopropyl alcohol, all with similar results that left me with little white, sticky, glue flakes on my clothing and hair line. Will it last all day? I believe so, it lasted through rain and sweat for me. But the best parts of the product are also its worst. The hair wax stick is amazing along with the edge control that some with, and the elastic edge banks are a lot more comfortable than other bands. ... show more
