  • Easy install, great result
I recently had Google Fiber 1 Gigabit service installed at my house, and I put in a mesh WiFi network to access the signal throughout the house. My HP laptop is several years old and couldn't take advantage of the speed. I purchased this network card to replace the one that came installed in the laptop. Installation was very easy. It took longer to remove the screws and drop the bottom of the laptop than it did to install the new card. When I turned on the laptop, the OS (Windows 11) recognized the card immediately and loaded the appropriate driver. I now get speeds equal to my newer devices (phone, tablet). This was an inexpensive way to improve both the connectivity and upload/download speed of my laptop. ... show more

  • Fast and stable
Here is a review from someone who was not paid to give the review. This card was a replacement for the wi-fi card in a HP Zbook 15. The card is fast in both 2.4 and 5 ghz modes. No drivers were included, but Windows will load the latest Intel driver from Win updates. Requires an M.2 slot, which the HP Zbook uses for the wi-fi card. I chose this over an external USB card to make use of the built-in antennas on the laptop. ... show more

  • Unit works great - included tool is mismatched to requirements
ID: B0CGR7GLX2 Description: AX210 NGW WiFi 6E Wireless Card, WAVLINK Tri-Band 5400Mbps 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz WiFi Crad with Bluetooth 5.3 for Laptop, Ultra-Low Latency, Support Windows 10/11 (64bit) M.2/NGFF Brand: WAVLINK Quantity: 1 231231 | 240104 | 240116 TLDR Summary: Unit works great - included tool is mismatched to requirements Includes a panhead PH000 screw and PH0 screwdriver. Included screwdriver is slightly magnetic, but not enough to retain the screw while installing. - Included screwdriver is a mismatch for the included screw (or for most screws used in M.2 applications), and is not a precision grip, being too large for comfortable use in such applications. WiFi driver was installed by OS (Win11) on startup. Windows Update found BT base and PAN drivers. BT Enumerator and protocol drivers installed automatically. Reboot not required. Worked as advertised, no issues so far. ... show more

  • Fast WiFi speeds can be yours with this adapter!
Installation was easy for my laptop as the whole bottom comes off and reveals all of the upgradeable parts. However, not all laptops are like this so it's best to do some research on how to change the WiFi adapter in your particular laptop. As for this adapter, it worked great from first boot on. I already had the intel drivers installed from the original adapter, so I had no issues and didn't have to go searching for a different driver. Right now I do not own a WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 router (Just a WiFi 6 router), so I wasn't able to test that sweet unclogged 6 GHz band, but what I was able to test (2.4 and 5 GHz) gave me fantastic speeds. The fact that this adapter uses an intel chip is HUGE, as intel is the best in the WiFi biz. ... show more

  • Easy swap, dramatic speed improvements!
I have a 8 year old Lenovo T450s and internet was a bit slow over WIFI (Intel AC-7625 released in 2014). Since I recently upgraded my home to a WIFI 6 mesh system, it was time to upgrade the laptop to take full advantage of the the fast symmetric 500mbps fiber connection and also speed up connections to the local 1Gbps wired desktops. Initially I was worried because some laptop manufacturers (Dell, HP, etc.) sometimes used to lock the BIOS to one specific network card type, but this fear was unfounded in my case. It was trivial to swap out the card but I got a slight problem because windows did not have the drivers and since the WIFI connection did not work, it could not get the drivers. Catch-22! After connecting via ethernet cable, the device manager update the drivers automatically and after 30 seconds I was able to disconnect the ethernet cable and log into the WIFI. To avoid this problem, you should download the drivers BEFORE swapping out the WIFI card. The quick start guide has a QR code to get to the WAVLINK site to download the drivers. Personally, I tend to avoid any branded drivers and let windows do the automatic detection so my workaround was the right thing for me. Windows 10 got the Intel driver dated 8/7/2023 version 22.250.1.2. (From the file names, the WAVLINK driver is slightly older: 22.190.0 and I did not try to install that). The box contains (1) the adapter, (2) the quick start guide, and (3) a screwdriver (i.e. the three items mentioned on the box and on the Amazon page. As an extra "unlisted" bonus, it (4) also includes the small screw. Most likely we don't need that because we can reuse the old screw but these things are easy to lose, so it is nice to have a spare. A quick speed test showed that the speed more than doubled! Great!!! ... show more

  • didn't work
Installed card, but never was able to get the card to work, Windows did not recognize the installation at all. Was installed properly as process is very easy to do.

  • Just works
Plug and play. Installing this wifi card does require you to open up the inside of your laptop if you don't already know, but it clicks and screws in easily with the included screwdriver afterwards. I have confirmed that it is indeed wifi 6 connectivity, and is substantially faster than my old card (only when using a wifi 6 router). It doesn't include an antenna, though, so hopefully wherever you're installing this already has one. ... show more
