Everyone talks about the Hatch, but I thought that it was too expensive. I purchased this and we use it every day, multiple times a day, and it does the exact same thing. I have the bedtime scene set. When baby naps, I usually just turn the machine on with my phone through the APP. When her naps get to be a bit more consistent, I will be able to set a scene. I also want to create one for a reading hour in the future when se gets older. I love that you can control everything through the APP, I rarely use the buttons on the machine itself. The only issue I had was after about 6 months of consistent use, my old light stopped working. I contacted customer service through the APP, and they immediately sent me another one. I was impressed. I also think the APP can be a bit clunky how it always makes you connect the Bluetooth when signing in. But that is a minor annoyance overall. I purchased another one to have for the playroom in the future. Since baby can’t tell time, I can use the colors of the APP to let he know what time it is and when baby can do certain activities. So I was hopeful for this sound machine but it fell below my liking. I loved the idea that it had the lights and timers to control when they turn on/off and what color they turn. I was looking to use this as red light means bed time and she should not be allowed out to her room, and green meant it was morning time (since toddlers can't tell time obv) HOWEVER the lights are so darn bright. It's too bright to be a nightlight. The dimmest ones were just dark colors which was a bummer. And the music IS SO LOUD even on the lowest setting. It also was frustrating that the only way I could really operate it was through my phone through Bluetooth. I gave it a try for a couple of weeks and then returned it. ... show more

We got this for the night light function and the sound machine. The sound machine isn’t the best but the night light is awesome. 8 months later- the machine completely died. I wouldn’t buy this.
