While these are amongst some of the best bath linens we have ever had, there is what I, at this time, would say is a problem with the washcloths. I believe it to be isolated to certain specific conditions, but neither we nor the company have determined the root cause. For that reason, I would give the product four stars, but, because of the excellent customer support and the company replacing the washcloths, I raised it back to five stars and would raise it to nine stars if I could. These bath linens are stunning. The fabric content is excellent to the touch, feel, and drying ability. Also, these are the first towels we have owned, and we have owned more expensive name brand towels, which during their first few uses, you don’t end up with lint all over you. Now to the problem. We purchased ours in white, but before reading on, be aware that if you purchase a darker color, this may be a nonissue for you. After using the bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths the first time, and be aware, we pre washed them all with absolutely no issue, but when we washed them the first time after their first actual use, they all came out beautiful in their bright white color except for the washcloths, which changed to something between an ivory or tan color. See the photo. One of the effected washcloths is to the right of one of the hand towels it was laundered with, and both are sitting on top of one of the bath towels they were laundered with. This was a first for us. We have owned white bath linens many times in the past and have never experienced such an issue. Based on our experiences with these, we believe it to be an interaction between the bath soap we use and possibly a chemical that was used in the manufacture of the fabric the bath linens were made from. While I will avoid naming the bath soap brand, I will say, it is a popular and highly used brand, and the bars are green in color. That being said, the washcloths did not change color in the shower. It happened during the laundering process, but again, the bath towels and hand towels, which were laundered right along with them were unaffected. This has happened to all these washcloths, which have been used with this hand soap in the shower. However, and quite interestingly, new washcloths, which have been used at the sink with a different brand face soap bar and laundered along with the others have not altered in color at all. This is why we believe it to be tied to an interaction between the bath soap bar and some chemical used in the manufacturing process. I don’t want this to happen anyone else, but with all things considered, we would buy these bath linens again and again. They are still some of the best we have ever used. February 11, 2025 Update - First of all, we still love these bath linens and would buy them again. However, we have new information. I believe we have proven the bath soap bars we used, in conjunction with something used in the manufacturing process of at least this lot of bath linens, to be the culprit. As I alluded to in my earlier post, our bath soap bars are a very well-known and very popular brand. When this issue occurred, with multiple washcloths from this manufacturer only, we were using the soap bar variety, which was green in color, and this discoloration issue resulted during the laundering process. Since the initial post, we have swapped to the bath soap bar manufacturer’s pure white soap bar variety. We selected an unused washcloth from both the original order of bath linens from this manufacturer and from the replacement washcloths they sent us. After multiple uses and laundering, these washcloths remained their original bright white color. While I will not recommend to anyone what bath soap they use or more importantly, not to use, I will say, based on our experience with the washcloths, we will no longer use bath soaps with artificial coloring. I like everything about these towels. They’re thick and absorbent, and the perfect size. The seam came apart on one of the bath towels after the 3rd wash, which was disappointing. All the others were perfectly fine, so I contacted the manufacturer, and Olivia responded right away. I was given a choice of replacement or partial refund. Since I liked the towels, I chose replacement. In short order I received an entire set as replacement for the one bath towel. This was above and beyond my expectations. I’m very pleased with the overall quality of the towels, and impressed with the willingness to stand behind their product by the manufacturer. Soft and absorbent. For the price, incredible. One thing that I found to be really helpful is the large hanging ring on the end of the towel. Being able to hang the towel without folding it over a towel rack dries it completely and quickly.

These are not the thickest towels but they're thicker than I expected for the price. They washed up nicely with no color bleed, a not-excessive amount of lint shedding, and no bunching up of the braided band. They're soft to the touch, they don't have a chemical smell, no irregularities or snags, color is consistent. The bath sheets are a nice size and so are the towels. Very pleased. ... show more

Just recently purchased these. Love them!! Don't hesitate to buy. I bought them at a steal it feels like. The material. Color, texture, are just like a luxury hotel. If you closed your eyes you may not know a difference. Not sure on color fading or anything just yet. So far so good. They are made well and don't seem to catch on anything. I dont imagine they'd snag easy or anything. Very soft material too. It's a great set of towels for being exactly what we needed and wanted. There was no shedding, arrived just as pretty as the pics too on color. They durable and absorbant enough I'd trust them kept in my suv or van for an extra clean up crew from some spilled drinks to an Oops, I forgot to roll my windows up last night when it rained kind moment.     • wonderful towels, but beware of color
I was looking for new towels for my bathroom and ordered these based on the excellent reviews. I first ordered light grey, but when they came they were REALLY light, so I decided I would return them and order a darker grey, Dolphin Grey. When those came they were pretty much white. I was tired of returning things (I had started by ordering some from another Amazon vendor but they were so scratchy I hated them.) so I decided to keep them.......they go well with my counter tops. They are truly great towels, soft and absorbent, but be prepared to get a totally different color than you ordered! ... show more
