I still like the concept of this, but it doesn’t compact the snow into a snowball. I just scoop up some snow to throw at the dog. It keeps me hands from getting cold and he loves it and doesn’t care either way.

My 4year old loves this cause its a gadget and helps him throw further. You get the mechanical advantage. Kinda hard to aim but after some practice, you can get close to your target. Makes perfect snowballs but since it is all plastic I don't know how long it will last. We used it once already without breaking and will be taking it out again. We also have just the snowball maker which has lasted 2 seasons so far. Its plastic is a little harder and has a little more leverage when compressing the snowballs. ... show more

I have a 7 and 10 year old...tried this product and the two blasters and for kids younger than 10 or so, get this product. Easy to use...scoop up the snow, close the top of the mold, flip the top of the mold back, and fling or throw the snowball out. For young kids this is the only way to go. The blasters require way too much strength to pull the surgical tubing back to launch the snowball. ... show more
