I bought this open box so got a great deal (arrived like new). Most of it was very easy to assemble except the "wings" on the back of the chair. They took an hour. The holes don't line up so I used a rubber mallet on the wings to make the holes line up. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality. The chair is comfortable, though it is not for a very large or heavy person. It is extremely comfortable, and was simple enough to put together. I had bought two for the living room and was able to put both of them together in a little over an hour. Be very sure to count all of the parts you are supposed to have before you begin, or you may be unpleasantly surprised. One of the boxes did not have the correct amount of a few of the screws. My other box had extra, so I was okay. If I'd only bought one, I might have been in trouble! As many people say, the wings take some care to put on. If you need furniture that can take hard use (teenagers in the house or something), I would not recommend this chair. But for someone a bit more fussy and careful, it's perfectly fine! ... show more

    • Cute little recliner
Very easy to assemble, only took me 15 minutes. The chair it great for shorter people, I am 5'1 and my feet reach the ground. The arm is a bit wiggly, but that is my only complaint after having it for a few months.

    • Just the right size
Seems well made, good quality. Only thing that sort of bothers me is that when It’s at full recline, if I move my upper body a bit, it automatically goes to semi recline so I have to fight with it a bit. Wish it had a recline control/lock on the side.

The two assemblers arrived and put chair together. Not before shown back wood foot split showing bare unstained area. I'd expect a totally good chair but each time I spend over $150, the items are flawed or don't work as advertised. This is a beautiful chair, but rather uncomfortable. The foam padded seat does not inspire confidence in lasting long. The unpadded arms are not comfortable, nor is the sloped back, leaving the head unsupported. Assembly was not without problems. Some of the bolts were very difficult to set. The chair is beautiful, but I am tall and I found the chair too small to be comfortable. My legs hung too far off the end when reclined for me to feel the benefit. I returned the chair and do not regret doing so.
