  • Good health!
Flavor Name: Gentle Digestion Chicken, Pumpkin ...
I must congratulate Rachel Ray on her excellent product. My little guy Gus has had a week of being very ill. He spent 3 day at the vets. He came home with Hills Science Diet, which he would not touch. So I read their ingredients vs. Nutrish. Very much the same! But yours looked better and obviously tasted better. Well Gus is doing much better! Supplemented with boiled chicken, rice and Nutrish. And an occasional jar of baby food as a snack. Your Nutrish is far and above better than any fancy dog food on the market. Our heartfelt thanks! 🐶🐶 woof, woof ... show more

  • Giant pools of drool on my hardwoods while I prepare his meals!
Flavor Name: Gentle Digestion Chicken, Pumpkin ...
Koda had become very complacent toward his dry food - as a very food-motivated dog leaving his bowl all day until I imagine he was too hungry to not go eat, I hated to think my boy wasn't enjoying breakfast and dinner and just living for the occasional treats. I also noticed at going on 6, a lot of lethargy and lack of playfulness when we'd go to the dog park. I begin mixing this with his dry food (which I feel I need to keep him on for the skin and stomach benefits) and it is woofed down in seconds. I will note I also incorporated a joint supplement around the same time, but the vet indicated I would probably see a change in Koda's behavior with both wet food and joint help - and sure enough, he's romping around the dog park again and way more active and puppy-like at times. It's so great to see. Only complaint is the thick pools of drool on my hardwood he's leaving behind while I prepare his bowl lol. Gross, but so pleased he's looking forward to meals again. Another benefit - solid and more consistent stools since starting this. Now that he's eating the food the moment I put it down, he's a little more regulated, and the pumpkin seems to be a huge help to his sometimes temperamental stomach. I could expect a little diarrhea or somewhat loose stool out of Koda probably at least once a week. I don't think we've had that issue once since we began topping off with this wet food, and we're on our second case now. AND THE PRICE?! Can't beat it. I hope it's good for them long-term; I know there's a lot of question as to cancer-causing ingredients in our dogs' food these days, but this was described as having minimal ingredients so fingers crossed. ... show more

  • Excellent dog food.
Flavor Name: Weight Management Turkey & Pum...
My dog is a Hoover. He likes to eat and the vet would like him to slim down. I bought the weight management and he is doing well.

  • Picky Golden loves it.
Flavor Name: Beef, Chicken & Gentle Digesti...
I have a finicky senior citizen golden retriever. He is the center of my house hold and an indoor dog. I tried very hard to balance his nutrition or some thing that’s fair to him some of the dog food I’ve purchased he seems like he physically cannot choke down and cannot stand this food he seems to really like and eats readily. I know what you’re thinking… Don’t switch his food and he won’t be spoiled/ picky/ finicky. Ha! Easy for you to say. The problem is he gets skin allergies very easily and so I’ve had to switch his food a couple of times to find some thing that won’t give him a rash.. for some reason he will eat food for a while of a specific brand or variety even if I switch flavors eventually he will stop eating that food entirely and will start to completely refuse it. He gobbles this up. I only give him a couple ounces at a time mixed with dry. The dog loves the Nutrish. i previously tried Wholehearted, which I prefer to buy. The dog will actually do epic hunger strikes that will last days if I don’t feed him some thing else. I have tried waiting him out and it’s not pretty. Usually the food in question ends up spoiling and I have to throw it away. So I bought two cases of this product which is meat paste / paté style and two cases of the similar packaged Gravy stew wholehearted. The whole hearted is slightly lower cost, appears nutritious and has an easy pop top and a nice gravy stew texture (easy to pour put of the can on busy mornings. The wholehearted LOOKs healthy with visible chunks of meat and vegetables in it, so I feel really good about buying it however my dog despises it. Adamantly Hates it. Sniffs it, makes a stink stank stunk face and walks away. My Golden loves the taste of this “Nutrish”food and will eat it immediately. He will not eat the whole hearted which just sits and spoils in his bowl while he looks sad. My dog will hunger strike for up to three days rather than eat food he doesn’t like. I finally gave up and switched foods to this which is annoying because you have to stick a fork into the can and try to get out the correct amount. It’s extremely dense I only feed part of a can with a mix of dry food. The dog will eat this easily and eat the dry food too; if its is mixed with this. Pro: apparently this stuff is delicious for dogs. Con: it’s a pain to get out of the can, also more expensive than generic. Once I’m out of the other stuff, I will just buy this one because otherwise I risk food waste if the food six too long and I can’t stand seeing my dog hunger strike. He is serious about it!!! I cant outlast him ! So he gets his way with this. I mix it with a high quality grain free salmon based dry food. Hopefully this food is not too bad for him. Read the label I have my doubts about the nutrition part of Nutrish. They should call it Delish. It seems to have a decent mix of proteins to fats and fillers ratio. Good luck doggy owners. ... show more

Flavor Name: Zero Grain Chicken
11 yo Sheppard/wolf hybrid with inflammation issues is doing very well on gentle digestion and zero grain canned product. He loves it and his digestive track has leveled out nicely. The quality of ingredients seems much higher than others in this class. Thank you Rachel Ray for sincere efforts towards quality of life for our pets. ... show more

  • You can teach an old dog new tricks!
Flavor Name: Beef, Chicken & Gentle Digesti...
We tried it for something new for our older dogs and they loved it! Out of the clear blue I had dogs pawing on my pants to get fed a little quicker! The previous brands were eaten but not devoured like the Rachel Ray we got w/ pumpkin and other nummy meats/ veggies.

  • My pups LOVE it!
Flavor Name: Gentle Digestion Chicken, Pumpkin ...
I have 2 shish tzu / maltise dogs. Both go crazy when the container comes out. They LOVE it and my little male takes his meds in it perfectly. I would love a smaller can but its fine. I serve it as a small treat so one can lasts for at least 3 or 4 servings each.

  • My dog liked it OK for a while but that didn’t last
Flavor Name: Gentle Digestion Chicken, Pumpkin ...
He didn’t like it so I didn’t try it. I must admit he is a really picky eater. I think he just likes a change once in a while.
