Let's get right down to it: Pros: - Overall quality seems very good, especially for the price. Modular helmets are usually significantly more expensive. Put it on like a 3/4 and get the safety and protection of a full face helmet. - Fit is good, I think I sized down slightly knowing that the padding would compress over time and better to be a snug fit rather than loose. Being able to buy this on Amazon made me feel more comfortable with getting this so I could return/exchange if the fit wasn't to my liking on the first go. I lucked out - fits great. - Tinted visor is great and I use that mainly instead of the clear, especially since I mainly ride during daylight hours. Great air flow and eye protection, easy to use. Clear visor is secure when pulled up up to 50 mph - cannot vouch for faster speeds at this time, but it seems like it would still be fine. Cons: - When clear visor is down, it whistles like crazy. Not unusual in full-face helmets, but still annoying. EDIT: Intermittent whistling has stopped. Maybe from getting worn in? Somehow it stopped, hallelujah. - I did have some of the fogging issues other reviews have stated, but they are minor and dissipate pretty much as soon as you start moving. Haven't had a cool day yet so it's certainly not temperature-dependent. - Struggling to find the ability to mount a GoPro-style action camera to the helmet. Originally purchased this helmet specifically for this purpose, but the front latch to lift the chin section proves to be a small obstacle. Still trying to figure that one out, since I would prefer POV videography vs rampaging toddler cam when mounted to the handlebars of my motorcycle. - Was never able to setup the Westt Connect NFC buckle. What should be a great feature has limited technical support. ... show more

I bought this for a guy that helps people, so I helped him. I did check it out, and there was information of how to use your phone with bluetooth to set up 911 calling. I am not sure everyone will get this feature, but after I read about it, it is a new thing being used in helmets. This might mean that the Dot approval might include it. You might not think it can call in a remote area, but with all the added ability to call 911 with GPS and satellite sending a call out and don't need to receive a call can help when activated, so you don't want to just throw this helmet around or it will call 911 thinking you crashed. I think this is a great feature, but it can be abused sending out false 911 calls because you dropped the helmet or threw it somewhere. The impact will activate it, don't get mad and slam the helmet against the wall. You will know if it has 911 calling, because it will give you instructions how to set it up. The guy I gave this helmet to is bragging how much he likes this helmet, and said it could have Bluetooth head phones, but he is very happy with it and glad it has 911 calling. Just the day before he had the helmet he was going up a bank in the creek on his 4 wheeler, and it rolled back on him. and bent the rack on the back and it hurt his back. He wished it came a day earlier, but he has nothing to worry about now. I hope all helmets gets this feature, and I think being Dot approved might make it mandatory. ... show more

Haven't actually worn the helmet so I don't know how it feels/fits. I ordered for a birthday gift and it arrived in less than new condition. The box was certainly fit to wrap for a gift. There was no paperwork of any kind, instructions or warranty. There was dirt under the protective film, which had been pulled off and replied. The face had been closed crocked and was hard to open. my head is exactly 22 inch ....small was way to big , finger space gap at forehead= a lot of movement = no fit= not safe , helmets should push your cheeks have no gap at forehead and should not move when shake your head. 1storm helmets small fit best for 22 inch head + need to consider the pads will squish down over time . hoped that helped cheers all ... show more
