  • 2005 Honda Accord EX
I got these (Westlake RP18 All- Season Radial Tire-205/55R16 91V) tires for my 05 Honda Accord. At the time of posting this review, I've only had the tires on for 3 days, but they are definitely a lot nicer to drive on than my old, worn-down tires. I paid $50/tire, for 4 total tires. I also paid a shop to put the tires on my car, and had them do an alignment. So far, I'm very happy with these tires and this was a great deal. These were exactly the same size as my old tires, except the side wall is 55% rather than my old tires, which were 60%. I don't think there will be any difference in the tires due to this. I will update this review if the tires are terrible quality or something. I'm typing this on May 2, 2019. Reply to this review if I haven't updated it some time in the future. UPDATE-------------------- (June 18, 2019) I've had these tires on for almost 2000 miles exactly, and they seem completely normal with no noticeable wear. These are definitely a step-up from the stripped tires I had on before these haha... I'll keep updating this review as time passes and I put more miles on them. October 28, 2019- I have 6000 miles on these bad boys and I believe they are running strong. I took my car to the shop to get new front rotors and brake pads because my front right rotor got warped which caused braking to be terribly bumpy. That was just an issue with the rotor and not the tire. Sadly, one of my Westlake tires had a nail in the sidewall so the shop replaced that tire with another similar one. Depressingly the replacement costed $100, in comparison for the $50 I paid initially for the westlake ones. I got all of the remaining tires rotated. For $50 each tire, I’m still really pleased with these tires. I’ll keep updating this review in the future. May 1, 2020 UPDATE———- These tires are still holding up great. I’m not sure how many miles I have on them but I drive every day for work and usually on the weekends for extracurricular stuff. I’m really pleased with these tires and they have some more life in them. Ultimately, if the tires popped today I feel like I would have gotten my money out of them haha. ————- Update August 2, 2020 I’ve had the three remaining tires on since I bought them. I drive an average amount, usually daily. I have no idea how many miles I have on them now but it’s more than 10,000, maybe 20,000. I had a nail in one of the tires earlier in this review. The other three tires are fine. I passed state inspection a few weeks ago, and they didn’t comment on any problems with the tires. They’ve been a great cheap tire option for my 2005 Honda Accord. ... show more

  • Excellent Value
I've waited until I had these for awhile to write this review. I've now put 2000 miles on them, part of those miles are driving 500 to the beach and 500 miles back home. They have held up very well!! Others have stated swelling/bumps from the tape in packaging but mine did not do that and they were wrapped in tape for a few weeks before I ever had time to take them anywhere to get put on. You definitely want to take them somewhere to get put on for you, they'll need shop machines to do it right. The man at the shop couldn't believe they were $40 tires from Amazon, he said they looked great and should hold me up well. I purchased four and all four look the same as day one, with obvious wear of course but the tread hasn't decreased at all. I've driven in heavy downpours, high winds, sioer humidity and dry heat. They have been great through all weather elements, I'll know in a few months how the hold up in the snow. The fastest I've tested them was 90mph on a highway with no other vehicles nearby. I did feel a small pull in the heavy rain, these are definitely NOT hugh end tires, you don't want to push your limits on them but for the average driver, these are an excellent value! Especially when you have to buy 4 at a time! EDIT JUNE 2021: This is my 3rd time buying these. My purchase history shows I'm buying them about every 1.5 years. I have a 10 mile round-trip to work and drive about another 300-500 miles on each month. I'm driving in western PA through all the weather elements, they are great in the snow btw!! I make a cpl large trips every year and I've literally had zero problems with them. I just bought them again and I'll continue buying them unless the quality starts to decrease. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! ... show more

  • Great value!
These are a great value! I replaced two aging Pirelli P4 all seasons with these on my 2005 PT Cruiser. The Pirelli's I have been tremendously disappointed with. They were worn out with 20k miles of warranty left, they were loud, they were out of round, and they were unbalanced. To boot, they were expensive because I thought I'd trust the name brand and its reputation. Well, boy have I regretted that. I found one of these Westlake tires new on Amazon warehouse with 'packaging damage' whatever that means. Upon inspection, I saw that the sidewalls of the tire were very slightly discolored, and after wiping my finger over it, it looks like they had some brown dust on them, that's it. Nothing else wrong. So, I got that one and ordered the other prime. Both were $89, less than I could have gotten one Pirelli for. I had them installed by a trusted local shop, and WOW! No tracking left or right, very little balancing to do they said, completely round, and quiet. I look forward to the inevitable fuel savings as well. These run great. I'm very impressed. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for, I experienced that with Pirelli, and now in the opposite with Westlake. I would definitely buy these again. ... show more

  • Good budget tire
Pretty good tire while it lasted. Had good grip on the snow. Unfortunately mine only lasted about 30,000 miles

  • Drove these tires during the rainstorms that fixed the california drought and lived.
I drive a 2013 Jetta Hybrid and average 400-450miles per tank with these tires. Very smooth and quiet ride when they're brand new, but obviously it gets a little noisier later on. I'm on my second set of these since early 2017 and have roughly 70k+ miles of experience with them. Drove them through torential downpours, flooded freeways, up/down slippery san francisco streets, at high speeds on the freeway, have taken tight turns at highspeeds, on nails several times that got plugged, and they haven't failed me. Also, when I say I drove through the rainstorms I mean I drove roughly 120-300 miles per day for months in the pouring rain on the freeway and local city streets. These tires are ******* awesome for the money. I got them installed locally by a tireshop. Highly recommend! ... show more
