I absolutely loved the picture quality and true to Ariel image. My 3 year old was so excited. However, it has already broken. This is with VERY little use, we live in San Diego, CA so we don't have a ton of rain, maybe a handful of rains and this umbrella is going in the trash. This was not a cheap product, so it is disappointing. This umbrella seems well made and my son really likes it. He’s 7 and it’s a good size for him. I ordered another Batman one for $14.99 I believe it was, that I had to return because it was only 23 inches across. Very, very small for his age. However, the description on this one says 36 and it’s incorrect. It’s only 29 inches across. But my son likes it and it’s good enough so we’re keeping it. ... show more

Super cute umbrella! The design looks great and the size is perfect for a child. The quality definitely lacks a little, the material seems really thin, I can't quite tell if it is fabric or purely plastic. Since we live in San Diego and we do not get a lot of rain I'm hoping this umbrella does the job. If this umbrella survives until the end of the rainy season or holds up better than I expect I will bump it up to five stars. I like the size. It was just right for a 10 year old. I will NEVER buy one of their umbrella’s again. The first one was bent. It broke the first time we used it. The replacement we received that one also broke and tore the first time we used it. Very cheaply made. I can’t return it because On the replacement I wrote my daughters name in the inside just in case she loses it at school. I didn’t think the first time I used the replacement it would tear & break. This little lady bug umbrella is absolutely adorable! The little antennae pop up when the umbrella is fully opened and stick straight up, so cute! It's built just as sturdily as any adult umbrella, made of your basic umbrella waterproof nylon. It's very easy to open and locks in place, but a child may need help in collapsing it. I also purchased the matching rain coat and rain boots and the entire ensemble is as cute as can be!! I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas, but it's only October and I don't know if I can wait that long! ... show more

A spoke on the umbrella broke when my granddaughter tried to open it. Poorly made if it breaks the first time. I would like to get a refund but since I'm an early Christmas shopper I may not qualify for a refund. Amazon, please help. I'm a good customer. Thanks.     • Super cute but not strong enough
I gave it 3 stars bc it is super cute and perfect for a little girl. Other than the "plastic" frame, the rest of it is pretty good quality--as good as any other kids umbrella for this price. The problem I have is that the frame is not metal. The description says it's plastic. I think it's more like a fiber glass material. My almost 2 year old broke it within minutes. I tried to fix it, and found that the when I touched the broken part, it left a bunch of tiny splinter-like prickles all over my hands. She still likes it despite one broken prong, as it is super cute, but I'm super disappointed that a kids umbrella is made of such a weak material. ... show more

I got the whole fireman set for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. This included the umbrella, raincoat, matching boots and a black fire hat. This was all wonderful. I felt free to buy these cuz other reviewers said their little boys were thrilled with them and wouldn't take them off. I was a little hesitant at first, cuz my little guy was not much acquainted with firemen. I added the Curious George fireman book and I can now say that the same is true for my grandson.
