  • My picky cats like the Cattyshack flavor
Flavor Name: Cattyshack Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 12)
I have the hardest time finding wet cat foods that my cats like and will eat. I took a chance on the Cattyshack flavor and had a decent response. For flat-faced, pate cats, it’s just slightly on the chunky side and requires a little more clean up in the hair.

  • Healthy ingredients and my cat loves it
Flavor Name: Chicken Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 12)
My 8-year-old cat likes a lot of Weruva foods, but he especially loves this Weruva Wx Phos Focused, Chicken Formula in Gravy. He will eat more of this can at a time than he will most other foods, which is great, because it has a very high moisture content and is good for his kidneys and urinary tract. The "gravy" is more like a broth; it's not sticky or thick like gravy, it's thinner without any thickening ingredients. He loves the flavor so much that I can even add a little extra water to eat and he'll still eat it. The chicken is a pulled consistency. It's like little thin strips. These strips are pretty easy for him to eat, although he does sort of lick them a lot until he gets the chicken closer to the edge of the plate and finally bites the pieces rather than lick them. It can get a little messy when he licks the chicken and it goes off the plate, but he's a messy eater in general, so I don't really think this is the food's fault. I tried the other Wx Phos focused flavors, and he didn't like those as much. I'm sure it depends on your cat's specific tastes. I'll continue to buy this one. I've already fed him almost 24 cans over the course of a month or two, and he continues to love it. This food is great for preventing kidney damage because of its high moisture content (like most canned foods) and its low phosphorus content. High phosphorus diets are associated with kidney damage. This is not a prescription food, but it still contains phosphorus in amounts under AAFCO standards. Consult your veterinarian if you are going to feed this food as a major part of your cat's diet. Otherwise, it is perfectly healthy to feed your cats when fed with other foods, because most cat foods have high amounts of phosphorus. ... show more

  • Ideal nutrition and quality, but my cat hates it and it's $2/can
Flavor Name: Paw Lickin' Chicken Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)
I bought this because it's one of the very few cat foods available on Amazon that is ACTUALLY proper nutrition for a cat. But it has been very difficult to get my cat to like it, and at an ungodly $2/can, while I appreciate the quality, I can't spend that kind of money on food he doesn't even like.

  • Not the favorite of my cats
Flavor Name: Grandma’s Chicken Soup Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 24)
The soup looks and smells wonderful...as good as human soup... but unfortunately not for my cats... but my outside feral cats treat it like gold...so. I can only go ax high as a 4

  • Honesty, I could eat this food
Flavor Name: Paw Lickin' Pals Variety Pack Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 24)
My 20 year old cat was getting so thin. He had trouble eating everything because of his teeth. He would try to eat and shake his head. I tried every brand out there and even making food myself. Then I tried Weruva. Thanks for making a real food. Its not really cat food at all, it is just food. He loves it. ... show more

  • Cats love this…
Flavor Name: Frisky Fishin' Friends Variety Pack Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 24)
Currently, the two cats love most flavors! This is a staple for our cat feeding! Other varieties, as well! Weruva has rocked!

  • A grain free wetfood WITHOUT CARAGEENAN & MSB !
We have purchased this for 5 of our cats after discovering from our sick Kitty most of the regular cat food from supermarkets and pet stores is junk. So began the search for grain free dry and wet food. We already had found out about the health risks of CARAGEENAN to humans and with dismay noticed it in nearly all the premium cat foods. Carageenan is a thickening agent (so is Guar Gum,Xantham gum), none are good for you, but the latter two are way more preferable than Carageenan. It comes from seaweed. In that form its fine. Typically its how us humans process it, that transform it from seaweed into a likely carcinogen (watch out for it for your own grocery shopping and refuse it). I'm no scientist, just google it. Theres loads of high quality cat food in pet stores available now which we'd love to give our cats, we figure they would like variety as much as people rather than the same old everyday, however, going through each high priced wet food (over 80c - $1.50 per can or pouch) looking at the ingredients most yielded carageenan amongst good ingredients. Frustrating. We are not gambling with our cats health anymore with that processed gunk in their stomachs year after year. No way. So, we found this, they all love it, especially if they haven't had it in a while. There is no menedione sodium bisulfate (msb) in it either, which is a man made vitamin supplement, generally regarded as unhealthy. Watch out for Weruva fish variaties though, which according to other reviews apparently have MSB, we only use their chicken at the moment. Pros; Human grade chicken meat NO carageenan NO menedione sodium bisulfate (msb) All our cats like it, some more than others Cons; Potato starch (instead of grains),not particularly healthy but better than grain filler? Sadly the change in diet wasn't enough for our first Kitty, she died of cancer earlier this year, over 11 years old. Years before the illness she was always vomiting, especially wet food. When we switched to grain free (Wellness Core for dry, Weruva chicken for wet) it almost stopped overnight. We think now she was allergic to grains and regret not finding out sooner the useless harmful junk in most cat food. It is also stunning how little vets know that cats do not need grains in food and they can be harmful. Ours even sell and give Science Diet, loaded with poor quality meat and filler. We have spent a lot of time researching for good cat food, primarily without grains, meat by products, modified starch, carageenan & msb and more trash. For those pressed for time, heres some things we have learned and used; THE FOLLOWING CONTAIN NO GRAINS,CARGEENAN & MSB; Wet food; Weruva chicken Wellness wet 3oz varieties POUCHES ONLY (NOT tins which have carageenan) Natural Balance wet 3oz varieties POUCHES ONLY (NOT tins which have carageenan) Dry Food; Wellness Core Fish & Fowl I'd like to try Blue Buffalo Wilderness dry food, states grain free but has oats and rice, aren't they grains? Times are hard and premium cat food is expensive. If you a on a very tight budget and have to buy the supermarket junk try Friskies Chicken shreds, lots of filler rubbish in there but no carageenan and first ingredient after water is chicken (most are by product),also SOME fancy feast varieties, some whiskes. When you can get your cats some Weruva Chicken tins,Wellness pouches,Tikicat tins, the more better food your pet eats the more it'll save you in vet visits down the line. Have any unseasoned scraps of fish or chicken, turkey from your own meals left over, they'll love it and its good for them. If anyone has any other useful suggestions for wet or dry cat food that is grain, carageenan & msb free please let us know through the comments section. ... show more
