If anyone enjoys the presentation, craftsmanship, and aesthetic beauty more than me, it might be the cat. The 2 bulbs are lit by a dangly pull cord, which the cat has also discovered. Sometimes this unfortunate design, causes the light to be shut off, by aforementioned cat, when you’d prefer it remain on. Sometimes it’s on, when it’s not necessary. The cat isn’t overly concerned about the electric bill. After repeated negotiations with the cat, she still refuses to relinquish control of our interior illumination. One time she shut the light off right as I was coming down stairs. Disaster narrowly averted! I hope this design flaw can be remedied by the manufacturer- or I fear for the safety of other cat owners! 🙀 ... show more

I love the design and colors in the glass shade. It's beautiful and well worth it for the price. My only complaint would be that the lamp shade does not secure very tightly, so it wobbles if you touch it, but there really is no reason to touch it. I could probably do something to make it more secure. It's very easy to turn the lamp on and off with the hanging chains. I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more
