    • Great beginner ukulele that sounds decent!
I have owned several ukuleles throughout my time, some expensive some less so. That being said this actually sounds pretty good, especially for the price. I mean the tuner, bag, and strap are easily worth it alone, not to mention you get a decent sounding ukulele. The strings will need to be broken in. As such it will fall out of tune a bunch, you will need to spend 10-30 minutes tuning, testing and retuning until the strings hold their tuning. The tuner has several modes for various instruments such as guitar, bass, and ukulele. When compared to my other tuners it does a decent job. Again, for the price this is a good investment for a beginner as it sounds good. Also, if you feel inclined to upgrade to a more sophisticated ukulele, you still have the bag, tuner and strap which will work for other soprano ukuleles as well. ... show more

I'll preface this by saying the price of this uke makes it a bargain for anyone looking to get into playing. The included tuner is very nice, and is a nice bonus as it can be used with guitars, basses, and kept if the buyer upgrades to a more professional uke. The backpack is great as well, and is nice and sturdy. The uke is ok and holds tune fairly well. In my honest opinion, the bag and the tuner are worth the price of admission.     • Nice value set-up for beginners!
I love the ukulele and have always wanted to learn how to play. When I saw this, I decided to give it a try! I like to learn new things, but I am always hesitant when the start up cost is high. The cost on this makes it very beginner friendly! You receive a super nice padded backpack bag, a nice wooden uke, colorful strap, a really nice tuner, 2 picks and 2 sets of strings! That's a lot of value for the price. It makes learning a new hobby affordable. And if it turns out you can't play a lick, at least you won't be broke too! Good fun! I highly recommend! ... show more

    • Can't even be tuned...
My wife has tuned many instruments, but couldn't tune this one. The A string won't go high enough, and the string is visibly discolored from how taut it is, and tightening it any more will probably break it. She was able to tune the G, but in tune, it's incredibly loose and unstrummable. We weren't expecting much from this, but we were at least expecting to be able to tune it and play around with it. I'm giving it two stars because it comes with a nice tuner, and the bag is nice. ... show more

I was so excited to get this little Ukulele! It came quickly once ordered. Has the cutest little case and strap. Even came with a tuner but the Soundhole is gauged. I will not be able to give this as a gift in this condition. Otherwise, for the cost it is a decent "toy" Ukulele.

This uke has a nice little gig bag, spare strings, three picks, an electronic tuner, and a strap. For around $20, this is a fair deal for a beginner. Tuning ours, though, was problematic as string 1's machine head was stripped from factory and you have to spin like mad to get it where it needs to be. It is frustrating, but doable for now. I've wanted a ukulele for so long and was psyched for this to arrive, but I was skeptical of the quality given how affordable it is and how much it comes with. I'm pretty impressed, though! It looks just like the product photos. The ukulele itself is well made and sturdy. I love that it's wood and not plastic, and the design is very simple and classic. And the accessories are decent too! The case is thick and well cushioned with a pocket on the front. I also loved the print of the strap, but I was expecting it to look and feel a lot cheaper than it does. It's so soft and sturdy, though! And it also comes with picks, strings, a tuner, and stickers!
