We bought this light for a bar pool table. It’s a great accent, and we get lots of compliments on the aesthetics. It was pretty easy to hang, even though we mounted on a drop ceiling which required extra supporting. The whole light is very well constructed and the shades are a pretty heavy metal. Great pool light. We were trying to match a painting that we have in our pool room. The size of the balls in the light are not true size. The light seems well made and durable. We had to do a little MacGyver-ing to get electricity to where we hung the light, as seen in the photo. I would recommend this light! ... show more

The only drawback was I had to go buy chain from Home Depot since they only give you about 3' of chain each side. In the pic you can see I have a slanted ceiling and needed about 4' on one side. I had to go with a lower gauge link but it all still came out nice. Overall, I am glad I purchased it. I suggest they include more chain link for more flexibility in applications. ... show more

Well first off only one end needs to have power (hard wired). If you have an light fixture in the center of your table it is possible to use only one mount as in the "A" pattern. The weight is fairly heavy so if you don't use the two mounts then be sure your electrical mount is strong enough to hold it. I used both supports even though power is only supplied to one. I need to move my electrical over about 3 feet but it's going to wait for cooler weather. Also note the balls are marked on both sides, my girlfriend asked this to me before I ordered it, I just assumed they were. This really was a very good buy for my 7 foot table, the others I was looking at were $300+. The chain is nice and may need more added if you have above 8 foot ceilings. ... show more
