The fabric weight is just right for me, even though I don't always sleep beneath the covers. While I haven't laundered it as of yet, I anticipate that the wrinkles will likely diminish after washing. HOWEVER, you can find the exact same item WITH the insert for the exact same cost through amazon. I ended up spending an additional $45 on a down insert because I simply didn't want to deal with the back and forth of a refund. Save yourself the time and money! This is not cotton! I love the design and it’s perfect for my 9 year old. However I was very intentionally looked to see if this was cotton as I do not like polyester. The description stated in multiple places that it was 100% cotton. It’s not- it’s 100% polyester.
