I bought this table well over a year ago and it’s absolutely beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted. One of the legs ended up breaking this week at no fault to the table and I contacted the seller to see if I could buy a replacement leg and they immediately responded that same day and mailed me out a new leg free of charge and I got the new leg within 3 days. A pretty pretty table. Doesn’t have as much varnish on it as you could assume from the picture — not sure if has varnish at all or if it has just been polished very thoroughly. Either way the surface looks very clean and refined, and at the same time natural, which I like. I might treat it with darker varnish so it matches my other furniture better, but it looks very good already. Assembly: wasn’t as hard as I had expected based on reviews. Took me about 20 minutes with a screwdriver, and I am a skinny woman. Had a bit of a wrist workout but never felt like I needed a drill. Hairpin legs have anti-scratch brackets. I purchased two of the tables to use as end tables and they fit in my livingroom that has a lot of wood trimming perfectly. This is the 4th Welland natural edge table I’ve purchased in the last year or so. They are easy to assemble, are solid wood, very sturdy, have a beautiful matte finish and no two tables are exactly alike. Hairpin legs are strong. Each table has its own unique wood grain pattern.
