If this is your first weighted blanket, we suggest you select a light to medium pressure blanket (20lbs or 25lbs).
  • Easy to Clean Machine washable and for added cleaning convenience, an outer duvet cover can be added by attaching to the 10 loops that are built into the weighted blanket. Hang dry is recommended, but if needed, tumble dry on low heat.

Our littlest guy has always battled sleep! Over his 5 years, we have tried ALL the things! Recently we decided to try adding weighted blankets to his bedtime routine to see if they helped give him the sensory input he needed to calm his mind and body for sleep. We weren’t having the success we knew we could because we just couldn’t find the blanket that worked. They were too “slippy”, too hot, only soft on one side...were some of the challenges we were facing. Then we found it! This blanket has changed the weighted blanket game for us! He loves it, we love it, he uses it at bed time and for relaxing on the couch! It’s soft on both sides, doesn’t have a cover to sip around in, and is just enough pressure to feel like a hug!     • I would have loved it, but...

The blanket is super soft and my son absolutely adored sleeping with it...for about a week, until all the glass beads slowly started leaking out all over his bed. So sad. I will be returning this item and will try to find one that has a bit sturdier construction.

I love that you can't tell there are beads in the patches, i like the feel of the blanket, and i love that it has a durable tag to tell you which side has which weight. The problem with this blanket is that it is way too long and not at all wide enough. If you like sleeping right against your partner then the width is manageable, but it is so long that even when we double it over at the top, it slides down during the night because of all the extra weight hanging off. ... show more

    • Mermaids go the wrong direction but the blanket seems durable and very soft
Just recieved this blanket today for my 3 year old. I got a 7lb because she moves around alot in her sleep, has night terrors, and wakes up 2-3 times a night crying for no reason or because she is scared despite their being a nightlight and music playing in her room. I cannot speak of her sleep yet but I will say this blanket is adorable. It comes nicely packaged in a canvas zipped bag. The "mink" side and the side with the mermaids is extremely soft. The mermaids are cute but are running the wrong direction. In the pictures it looks like they are vertical down the blanket instead they are horizontal. I wish aesthetically the pattern was going to correct way. The blanket feels very strudy and made well. Feels like very fine sand or beads inside and are not felt through the blanket. My 3 year old said it felt like her blanket was hugging her and was so excited to go to sleep. After a few nights Ill update my review and add pictures. ... show more

    • Update- keeps falling off....Feels like you're being hugged!
Update- We've used this blanket for a few days now and we're not very happy. It doesn't work with other blankets, either as the top blanket or bottom. It just slides off every night. Unfortunately, I will be looking at returning. My daughter loves it! She kicked off her other blankets and just used this one. As soon as she put it on, she said it felt like she was being hugged lol on a side note, or seems small. I ordered a twin, but it isn't a regular size twin- it is smaller. I didn't bother with the dimensions though, because I figure if it was too large, it may be uncomfortable. Also, my daughter is much taller than average at 8 years old. ... show more

    • Soft and cute
My daughter actually had to have a sleep study when she was 2.5 years old. She just doesn’t need to sleep. We were happy to find that nothing was neurologically wrong, however, the dr told us that she is a child that just “doesn’t require sleep” we bought this blanket a year later as we have tried so many different tactics to help her to sleep. This blanket hasn’t helped with sleep, but it has helped with comfort. Even though it’s heavy she will drag this thing with her when she is tired and looking for comfort. She loves the softness and sometimes lays on top of it rather than underneath. So it might not be serving the exact purpose of why we purchased it, but it is helping her with her nighttime anxiety and comfort levels. ... show more

My boyfriend bought this for me to use at night and I love it!! He got me a 15lbs and I think a 20lbs would have been better for my weight (I'm plus size). But nonetheless, its fantastic! It's helped with my anxiety and nightmares and to fall asleep quicker. The fabric is very comfortable, its breathable but also can keep some warmth in. In the winter I added another blanket to the bed in addition to this but I think it will be perfect on its own for the rest of the seasons. It is tedious to clean, so please be aware of that, BUT you can purchase a fabric to go on the outside to help with cleaning. ... show more

Let me first start out by saying how soft this blanket is! My 2 1/2 year old girl does best with the 5lb blanket and it’s just perfect for that little extra added weight for security.
