This is helpful for our older loveseat. It gave it a bit of boost and does not make the seat feel hard. Our cushions themselves could probably use new inserts to help it more, but this support is helpful. I am so glad I ordered this. My loveseat and couch are starting to sink whenever someone sits down. I love the set and did not want to buy another living room set for now. I took a chance on this item and it fits the two cushion loveseat perfectly. Very easy to install. Just remove the cushions, unfold the slats, and place them on the couch frame. I purchased two (44") to fit my 3-seat sofa. I folded over the sections to make it fit and to double the support for the portion of my sofa that gets the most use. I prefer the bamboo as it is a natural and sturdy material compared to similar products that use MPE or plastic-like material. The oxford cloth covering keeps it place--no sliding.
