    • Way to go Davis Instruments!
I've had a Davis Vantage Vue for several years. My biggest complaint about it was I couldn't look up "yesterday" without expensive add-ons. That is now a thing of the past with Davis' Weatherlink Console. They knocked it out of the park with this one! I can see today, yesterday, week, month, etc., with an easy and intuitive touch screen. There are so many features I have yet to explore them all but the ones that are most important to me are either displayed directly, or readily available, with a simple touch or two. It connected quickly and seamlessly with my existing Davis Weather station and I can still use my Vantage Vue which will soon be moved to another room. With the desktop display I don't have to pick up my phone to see what the weather is doing, it's all right there on a large, easy to see display. Also, the display contrast is adjustable which my older eyes really appreciate. Since it's connected to my wifi I can also see what the weather is doing when I'm away through the Weatherlink phone app along with other weather stations across the world. It's not inexpensive but it is worth every penny compared to every weather station I've tried, and there have been too many to count! Another thing I really appreciate is Davis has a thorough and extensive users manual READILY available online. I have recent experience with numerous electronics that evidently expect you to know how to use their product through osmosis or something. The most recent was a competing weather station with an app that didn't work and a "manual" with 3 undecipherable pictures. After much searching I finally found a manual online only to discover it was the exact same, abysmal, undecipherable 3 pictures. So, again, way to go Davis for not only producing a great product but making sure literature is available so your customers can get the most out your product!!! ... show more

Nice user interface. Wish it had more features such as the ability to upload to directly to a 3rd party weather site, but otherwise a good product

I replace my main Vantage Pro 2 old style console with this new display. it improves the ease of viewing by 100%. Range is no problem with the senser on my tower at 30' and the console on the opposite side on my house about 200' away. The only complaint I have is why did Davis replace the period (.) for a comma (,) on the display and also in the WeatherLink IOS APP? The new display is a big step up. I just ordered another for my bedroom, again to replace the older Vantage Pro 2 console. It is nice having a modern style display for my weather station. As a sidenote I am keeping and old console in service for local data logging and archive using the Weather Link Windows software that I have been using for many years. ... show more

    • Touch screen not working
This unit uses a touch screen, when I received it, and went to configure it, tried entering my email, and found out the touch screen around the letter "I" is non functional.

I like that the screen is backlit all day and then goes dark at night. A lot of information available and easy to read.

    • Works Well.....But had a few issues at setup.
Now that it is up and running properly, I like it. I had touch screen issues and severe lag on my first three attempts after setting up. After a fourth factory reset and setup everything now works 100% I still use my original console to push my data. My station is ten years old and still running strong. Thanks Davis. ... show more

Davis Weather Instruments make the finest home weather stations available and this console is portable and be placed anywhere and will reflect real-time data from your weather station.

    • Cannot personlize as promised
very complicated to personalize as promised in features. Had to go online to gain manual, which was unclear when gained. Technical support was helpful to a point, but product so new they didn't seem to fully understand product. Not their fault, as they were concerned about my satisfaction. Display very much improved over original console in respect to daylight observations, but that's about the only feature I liked over the original. Example: As I wished to display Heat Index and Dew Point at the same time it would display outside twice, thus eliminating a space for other information. Graph is fancy, but useless in my opinion when only two disciplines can be shown at same time. Davis did not meet my expectations this time. Guess two out of three ain't bad. Am on my third ISS. ... show more
