I ordered 3 of these and to be perfectly transparent one of them was dead on arrival, but I was able to return it without any issues for a full refund so it’s safe to order and try. The two that worked are flawless and went in easily with no issues. I stall takes like ten minutes and that includes fully cleaning out dust and lint from inside my ps5.     • Added some much needed breathing room to my Playstation 5
I started out with adding a 1TB SSD shortly after purchasing my PS5. In the 6 months that followed, I have maxed out my internal and m.2 storage. So I bought this one, and the performance is still really good, but my storage space on the m.2 has doubled. I did have to transfer all my games from the old m.2 to the new one, but now I use my old m.2 as a USB-C attached storage, so if I need to make room, now I can offload them to the external USB storage instead and bring them back when I need them, instead of deleting and re-installing. 2TB is still not a lot of storage, but when prices come down on storage, I might consider a bigger one. I ran out of space on my PS5 and this was the thing I never knew I needed. I am still a newbie with all this gaming stuff, but it was a super easy install and worked right away with no issues!     • Quick and easy way to expand PS5 storage
What can I say, the PS5 fills up pretty quick with the size of games these days. This little NVMe drive installs quickly and easily, and now I have plenty of space to download all of the games my daughter and I play together... and sure, a few that are just mine too! Performance is very speedy and I can't really tell any difference between the OEM and this SSD as far as load times go. Both are WAY faster than even a really good USB drive used externally (where all of my PS4 games reside). Just bite your lip and click "buy"... the price will only hurt for a minute (it's not THAT bad, after all), but you'll love it every time you don't have to wait forever for your games to load on the PS5. ... show more

It was an easy install process in my PS5. Very quick format once I plugged my PS5 back in. I saw a very noticeable increase in speed for loading games up and when fast traveling to different areas of a game. I also have a lot more games installed now that I have about 2GB of extra storage. Drive came with no issues, instructions for installation were not provided but they can be easy to find online, it takes just a couple of minutes to install and runs like a charm, tested it on my ps5 with games like spiderman 2 and speed is just as fast as internal drive, also the system gives the full 2tb without limiting it. ... show more
