I used the leather earpads that came with the A40 Noise Cancelling kit for a few years until they fell apart. I got these as a replacement several months ago and they have held up extremely well, not to mention the build quality is much better compared to first party ASTRO ones. Only thing to note is they still get kinda warm like basic astros muffs but that may just be for me, and is not a bit issue to me regardless, the headphones fit better on my head now and theres less room and crannys for skin and hair to get caught

As the title states, definitely no cooling sensations - I do feel the heat less than factory but that's not really a good comparison since that's got no venting or any type of "cooling" material to begin with so I guess grain of salt. They're a little more comfortable than the factory pads but 3/5 for sure since there's definitely no cooling sensations on the pads I bought. Took a gamble, still decent price for more snug comfortable pad than factory though. ... show more
