    • Paying someone to size your watch for you?
I just feel absolutely stupid now for ever having paid anyone to size my watches for me now. Member of Watch Gang so I get watches on the regular. Couldn’t really make store hours with my work schedule so I decided to give this a try. Absolutely perfect. Most everything you could need to work on your watch. The only thing that it doesn’t come with that I had to get in another purchase was jeweler’s needle nose pliers. Other than that, couldn’t be happier with the value for the $$$ spent.     • Knock out tool pins bend easily
Overall this watch tool kit works very well, but you have to be careful with the pin knockout tools. The pins are very soft and bend easily.

    • Impressive kit
I purchased this kit to remove 2-3 links from a Citizen Sunrise watch. I watched several you tube videos for guidance. Ultimately, I was able to remove the links but an extra, very small piece, dropped out too. I was able to return the pin, but the bracelet did not hold. Took it to a watch repair man in the mall for help. He told me I’d already done 90% of the work and did not charge me to finish the job. I offered him my kit, but he declined.     • Compromises required, but at least it's inexpensive.
Worked OK with two Seiko watch bands. The pin extractor has an adjustable platform to rest the strap onto so it will line the punch up with the pin in the bracelet. This works OK, but, the punch can only advance so far before the housing impacts on the platform. This is generally enough to get the pin started, but you have to finish up with the bracelet in the frame using a separate punch and the included mallet. As noted by others, it's easy to bend the pins if your alignment is off. Also pretty easy to bend them back. Overall, not amazing, but not horrible either. With some care, it will very likely do what you want it to. Just watch the direction or you will ruin a pin by driving it the wrong way like I did. The kit can't account for human error, but it does include replacement pins that seem to work just fine. ... show more
