Sadly one of the sticks gave me drift problems at the two year mark but I could replace it and now it's perfect again. Apart from the possible drift issues you may or not experience, I really think there's no better controller on the market. Wouldn't buy any other for PC gaming.

    • Playstation Controllers and a 25 yr Gaming History
As an avid gamer since I was little at the arcades when our parents took us vacationing, I have 1000s upon 1000s of gaming experience. I've owned many gaming devices over the years. There was always a Playstation on a shelf waiting to be played. Most of the earlier gaming devices seem to work pretty good. Recently I went back to PC and bought a PS5 controller(why are these so pricey!?!?) and it lasted about a year before left joystick issues and I couldn't play Rocket League(GC1 level player) Great! typical! Back to the DS4 nightmare. I went through over a dozen DS4 controller with stick issues in the past. Second issue on a few was the top triggers. So of course they release the DS5 to have similar issues! It feels better though and more comfortable in my hands. For anyone who games competitively every week for a good amount of time, these controller d won't last. Sure if you game a few times and play games where you're not as rough on them, they'll last much longer. Or maybe you stick with them, no pun intended, with the stick issues or don't mind a button not working as good. I also noted the top L1 trigger on this second new DS5 I bought sometimes doesn't press down right. Overall the controller is nice when it's working. I've had a few expensive controllers like a customized Scuff Impact that broke after warranty ran out. The trigger just broke and fell off mid battle royale Fortnite fight. So, modern day controllers being controllers, am I right? consumable. I'll be back with a 1 yr review on it. Anyways, it's your typical Playstation controller. Like most products today, its designed to be replaced at some point, but not the point in time you expect. Good luck! ... show more
