this is the perfect rug. It's thin enough to vacuum straight from the hardwood floors without having to adjust, which i didn't realize annoyed me so much until finding this rug. The color is exactly what i was hoping for, as well. It isn't too vibrant or contrasted, and ties everything in the room together without standing out, while simultaneously adding dimension and depth. i originally purchased this rug for the large size and aesthetic elements, but i have to admit that my favorite part may actually be the texture. it's extremely soft, almost like velvet or lambs ear leaves, and luxurious to walk on. And because it's such a thin rug, there's no fiber separation or pile for animal hairs and crumbs to get tangled in. it does have a nonslip backing, but since it is so thin, i may need to add some sort of rug tape under the open corners to keep it secure. not many rugs can handle a giant working dog with the zoomies, so i'm not counting that as a design flaw. overall im extremely happy with this purchase and i can't wait to see how it holds up as time goes on. since it appears to have the design printed onto a single piece (verses individual strands like a traditional rug), i do wonder if it will eventually show obvious signs of wear and color degradation around the higher traffic areas. ... show more

This rug is beautiful! It’s soft yet still very thin, but not as fragile as I was worried about. Haven’t washed it yet nor has it had any wear yet as I just laid it out, but so far it seems like great quality and saved me $600 from ordering the Ruggable version!

UPDATE: The rug already has a snag in it, so while I am still pleased with this rug and it will remain at a 4 star rating, it may not be the most durable. Keep this in mind if you have kids that like to rough house or dogs. I have cats, and one of them managed to snag the rug while they were playing. I am so happy I decided to pull the trigger on this rug. I am very happy with it. I have been eyeing the original rug off of Ruggable that this one is based off of. I can’t speak to how it compares to the original, but I can say that I am happy with this version since the 9x12 size that I ordered is only ~$300 compared to over $1k from Ruggable. It is very soft. It does have wrinkles once taken out of the package, but they come out just fine with an iron. The colors are gorgeous. It is a four star for me because it is quite thin (due to it being washable), but I have a 1/4 inch rug pad underneath it and it’s perfect for our front room. It also does slip a bit since it’s thin. There are some little folds that don’t quite ever lay flat, but they’re not incredibly noticeable. Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing. It’s so cute!! I find a lot of the machine washable rugs to look cheap and the colors tend to come out muted. I was looking for bright and colorful and took a chance on this rug and it’s amazing!! Every year, I have to replace the kitchen rug several times. A kitchen rug needs to be dirt-resistant, and I believe everyone faces this issue when choosing one: can dirt resistance coexist with a beautiful rug? The rug I purchased this time perfectly answers this question. At first glance, it appears to have a slightly darker color, which fully ensures its dirt resistance and durability. However, upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the details are rich and vibrant, filled with thoughtful designer touches. The color variations are hidden within the overall grayish tone, creating a rational and restrained yet radiant effect. Ultimately, this rug has made my kitchen look exceptionally elegant and upscale. In addition to its beauty, it also meets all the practical needs of a kitchen. The non-slip backing material is very effective. I've already washed it in the washing machine, and it performed very well. After washing, the edges and patterns still look as good as new, with no quality issues whatsoever, which is essential for a kitchen rug. When I first received it, there were some creases because it's a foldable rug, but after laying it flat for a week, the creases disappeared. So, no need to worry about that. Very nice and looks almost exactly like the Morris & Co one from Ruggable, but about $600 cheaper! I bought the 8x10. Pretty and soft and so easy to roll out. I didn't order the mat originally but just ordered it now. It will make it look richer and hopefully smooth out the folds from it being folded up for shipping. ... show more

This rug does not lay flat, and wrinkles don’t smooth out. The edges also crinkle. Upon further examination, it appeared the rug was not even cut evenly on one side.
