I purchased this for an overnight hike and camping trip with REI, the weather was anticipated to be cooler overnight, and although I wasn't able to utilize this specific product for the overnight, when I did try it on, I thought the fit was perfect for me, and it kept me nice and warm. Unfortunately, I can't speak to how it ventilates and wick's moisture when engaging in activity. Overall, material quality proves to be adequate, with good washability, and facial and head coverage to keep you warm. Used it for a hike, it helped block out the wind from hitting my face and ears. Only complain is that the stitching meets at the very center of the top of your head.
