This bed seems sturdy. We upgraded our littles bed since we keep having visitors who take over their room and this bed had drawers under so we picked it. It came damaged. (I didn't bother trying to get it replaced as someone put it together for me while I was at work and disassembled the other bed so it was needed) The bed also came with a few replacement pieces. Which was really helpful. I was told it went together easily. My biggest complaint is the drawers. Magnets would of been a better choice. Instead you have a kinda hook and eye situation. You have to lift the drawer and push to one side to line up with the hole. The material is almost like a suede in softness. And it looks good in person. Never have I owned a bed with a box type frame at the bottom. This could be from my poor upbringing, who knows. This is really my only knock on the bed frame. The drawers are super nice for storage as the bed we had was previously lifted a foot off the ground for storage. I would recommend keeping storage to things you don't need every day. While it is nice to have the drawers, it's not something I would want to deal with every day when I wake up in the morning (if I had to get clothes out of it). This was for a guest room, so it is used to store spare sheets and random stuff that was under tho old bed. Would be nicer if the drawers were on rails, but I'm fine with this in the guest bedroom. I knew they weren't on rails when I purchased. Assembly was rather straightforward, have to give an A+ here because this was the first time I've ever put something like this together without accidentally attaching something to a wrong piece or backwards. No joke though, the box is heavy. I'm a big guy and I had a hard time getting this into the house and up stairs by myself. I found this frame to be affordable especially since we're adding an aesthetic look to the room, opposed to a basic metal frame. Everyone in the house agrees it looks very nice. I guess part of making it affordable is the wood slats. I told myself years ago I wouldn't buy another frame with wood slats but it is rated for a high weight and they do seem sturdy, they are really half slats with support down the middle. Would be nice to have metal slats though, can't imagine it is much more expensive as you can get an all metal frame for pretty cheap on Amazon. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a frame in a guest room or if you use the drawers for long-term storage. I was never going to put shirts and pants in the drawers as shown in the advertising pictures, but I could see someone finding them frustrating for every-day use. They could improve this design by using strong magnets to hold the drawer so it doesn't have to be lift-locked to close it. ... show more

Looks nice and it’s very sturdy. Love the drawers but I wish they actually hooked onto the bed versus just sliding it in then locking it. Other than that it’s a beautiful bed and it was very easy to assemble

Bought this because I moved across country and needed something to hold my stuff since I didn’t have a closet. I’m no engineer but I thought the setup was pretty easy. Tedious because there are a lot of screws and you can’t use a screwdriver (unless you have an allan wrench attachment) but all together took me 2 hours. Drawers are great, huge and roll nicely. Have hook locks to keep them in place while not using. I see what some people mean about the mattress sliding around on the wooden slats, but as long as you’re not jumping into bed, you’ll be fine. Great bed for the price and very soft material on headboard. Nothing came broken and all together I would recommend!! ... show more

I have been using this bed frame for a while and i like it a lot. There’s nice space but keep in mind the drawers aren’t connected. The main metal piece that is the base piece at the bottom broke and I’m trying to contact the seller to buy just that metal piece to fix the bed but they have not responded. ... show more

This bed is STURDY. It comes with a lot of pieces, but the directions are clear. It took perhaps an hour and a half. That's with getting the box inside, (it's one box that runs the length of the headboard and heavy), getting everything out and organized, taking a few Seagram's breaks, and snapping the slats in. I love how It comes with extras and all the screws were separated perfectly. We used a drill mostly, though with two of us we did use the tool it comes with as well as the screw driver. This bed is SUPER sturdy, once those slats are slapped in, you're all set. And yes, even for adult activities 😂 The drawers were the biggest setbacks, however even those were quite simple once we got the understanding of the wheels (have to install them while the drawer is right side up). Everything clicked into place and we were able to put our mattress on with no issues. The bed is a bit low, so if you want some height perhaps a box spring may help or mattress toppers. We have a 10 inch queen and it was suitable for us, (we're both short though). We set the headboard up to the highest height, as I love lots of pillows and didn't want to lose sight of it.
