This cane is pretty, lightweight and easy to use. The handle is comfortable even though it's hard plastic. The handle does make it easier for the cane to fall when you lean it against something though. My hubby was able to easily change out the tip. The tripod tip works well, and I do not find it too heavy. It enables the cane to stand by itself on a hard surface. I'm almost 5'8", and the height adjusted well for me. It appears to be adjustable for someone a few inches taller than me and someone several inches shorter than me; I have it on the next to the last notch. I haven't tried to fold it but it comes with a band that goes around it when folded. I don't know how durable it will be, but it is certainly fine for short-term use or use by someone who is not too heavy for it. I would expect it to last a few years, at least. On first try, I think the can will be sturdy enough when unfolded and in use. I really like the way the sections of the cane fold to lie side by side rather than in a bunch. I may be able to use the piece of plastic that held them together for shipping to hold them together between uses. It might take a bit of velcro to secure it that way. I got two - one for the house and one for the car. So far, I recommend this! ... show more

The cane is ok for my purposes, (as an after hip replacement walking aide), However, if you plan on using it long term, you might want to find one that is sturdier than this one. I just had a total knee replacement. I ordered this cane and a rolotor and also a walker since I didn’t really know what to expect. I use my rolotor the most for stability. The cane is nice but the colors seem more granny-ish. I should have picked a solid black.

The pattern is very pretty… just needa to be a little shorter. I’m 5’2” and it’s just a little too tall for me. Also, wish it had come with a second handle. I bought one and added it to the cane.
