At first I planned to send these back because the color was much lighter than the pictures show, BUT they come with a trial, so I put them on my bed. Hubby wasn't too impressed at first, but again that was just by looking at them. Then we turned in for the night. Nice comforter, but I commented that I might add a second blanket because the comforter is so airy and light. NO NEED! Whatever fairy hands created this cloud-in-a-blanket made it perfect! It's light, but holds all the heat. I still find myself putting a leg outside the blanket. No smell when I first opened the packaging, the comforter puffs up in no time at all, and the pillow cases stay in place on the pillows. The ONLY drawback I can find is that it's so hard to get out of bed now! ... show more

Ok to begin with the look of the comforter is exactly as pictured. It is lovely and soft very pretty grey blue color with sweet little golden birds and butterflies but the coloring is spot on to not be overly feminine. I did not want it to be super "girlie" and have my boyfriend not be at home in our room..if that makes any sense..So for that it's perfect. Here are my issues. To preface.. I have a raised bed with a fitted queen mattress. After washing the bedding the filler shrinks and bunches :( to the point that it barely covers the bottom of the mattress and the under blanket and sheets (both queen size) are clearly visible hanging out from under the comforter. I am so bummed. Also if you need a little extra to tuck under the end of the mattress to secure it in place you are losing about a foot and a half at the top of your bed for sleeping. Again..big bummer. The bunching in the filler is so bad at the bottom of the bedding that it gives an lumpy, old and worn look..mind you this is after one wash on gentle cycle in a full capacity machine. I am truly disappointed but here's the kicker. I still love this comforter set. The pillow cases are perfect. Nice secure envelope style very polished looking. I am hoping the fabric filler will "relax" and smooth out..if not I will have to return the product...but again..I like the bedding so much that I will reorder in a king size and will have it professionally washed at a dry cleaner the first time if needed to keep the shape and integrity of the comforter in place. Last note to make is this bedding is a complete comforter with filler as noted and not a duvet cover..I had concerns when the package came because it is so small..they compress all the air out to ship but it fluffs right up when you open it. It absolutely needs to be washed the first time you use it as it has major creasing from the packaging and smells funky..like plastic and chemicals (one wash smell is gone). Over all..not bad..but not awesome. ... show more

It came vacuumed sealed in a small box and I though I bought the wrong thing at first. But I was pleasantly surprised. The comforter is light weight and soft. I'm very picky about the feeling of fabrics and this one I really loved. Love the design and colors on it too! I want the matching sheets but I have a thicker mattress and they don't have the deep pockets I would need. ... show more
