I had the same comforter for 5 years. It has been through kids leaving silly putty in it (that does not come out well) throwing up in it, potty accidents, and many many other abuses. It was beat up but so comfortable and still looked good even after the many bleaching and washes. When I went to replace it; I found that it was no longer available. I spent the next couple years looking for a replacement and couldn’t find anything I liked more. I even purchased comforters that ended up being put in the closet because we went back to our other comforter. I say all this to express the amount of satisfaction I have with this current comforter!! It is so soft yet sturdy, it’s warm but still light and not too warm. This comforter is everything I was looking for and I think I even like it more than my previous comforter. I will most definitely purchase one like it in the future. I purchase this comforter as used but it must’ve been returned with out really being used because it still had the creases from being in the package and it came in the original packaging. I only purchased it used because I didn’t want to spend a very much money incase I didn’t like it. I would gladly pay the price for a new one. It is well worth it. This comforter is very pretty. The colors are just as advertised, and maybe even prettier in person. Very soft and light-weight. I haven't used it in cold weather yet but it's nice with cool air-conditioning. Reviews speak about the wrinkles... Yes there are wrinkles, but the print sort of camouflages them so not too noticeable. If wrinkles really bother you, then you may want to look elsewhere. The twin size is quite generous. Ok to begin with the look of the comforter is exactly as pictured. It is lovely and soft very pretty grey blue color with sweet little golden birds and butterflies but the coloring is spot on to not be overly feminine. I did not want it to be super "girlie" and have my boyfriend not be at home in our room..if that makes any sense..So for that it's perfect. Here are my issues. To preface.. I have a raised bed with a fitted queen mattress. After washing the bedding the filler shrinks and bunches :( to the point that it barely covers the bottom of the mattress and the under blanket and sheets (both queen size) are clearly visible hanging out from under the comforter. I am so bummed. Also if you need a little extra to tuck under the end of the mattress to secure it in place you are losing about a foot and a half at the top of your bed for sleeping. Again..big bummer. The bunching in the filler is so bad at the bottom of the bedding that it gives an lumpy, old and worn look..mind you this is after one wash on gentle cycle in a full capacity machine. I am truly disappointed but here's the kicker. I still love this comforter set. The pillow cases are perfect. Nice secure envelope style very polished looking. I am hoping the fabric filler will "relax" and smooth out..if not I will have to return the product...but again..I like the bedding so much that I will reorder in a king size and will have it professionally washed at a dry cleaner the first time if needed to keep the shape and integrity of the comforter in place. Last note to make is this bedding is a complete comforter with filler as noted and not a duvet cover..I had concerns when the package came because it is so small..they compress all the air out to ship but it fluffs right up when you open it. It absolutely needs to be washed the first time you use it as it has major creasing from the packaging and smells funky..like plastic and chemicals (one wash smell is gone). Over all..not bad..but not awesome. ... show more

I am sad because I absolutely loved this set until I washed it the second time 😢 The inside messed up and I can't fix it. Sad because this set was beautiful and was perfect. It said machine washable and tumble dry low. It is now to late to return.
