The upper rack on my Whirlpool dishwasher came out of the slides after the plastic clips broke. At only 3 years old, this was unexpected. This kit was exactly what I needed to fix my top rack! Everything fit great, it took me less than 20 minutes to install. This kit has some upgraded metal parts instead of the original plastic, which is a plus.

Made much better than the original. If you move the rack up and down often it is a bit more difficult. Easy to install even with the sub par instructions.

    • More Durable than the Original Equipment
Pros: Price, more durable/sturdy than the all plastic original equipment, easy to install. Cons: Latch to raise/lower rack is much more difficult to use than the original equipment. If they could figure out a way to make it easier to raise/lower the rack, I'd have given this 5 stars.

    • Better than the OEM!
This replacement is better than the EOM parts. The top rack works better than it ever did when brand new! Two wheels snapped off the plastic pegs of the original so we looked for a replacement and found this one. Install was straightforward and this kit is partial metal and hopefully more durable. However, the best surprise is that it fixes the issue we have had since day 1 of our dishwasher where the top rack would catch on the rubber gasket along the sides. If we didn't pinch in the top rack sides when pushing it in, it would pull the gasket out of place and require us to reattach that. Now the rack moves in much smoother without ever catching on the gasket! Highly recommend this replacement kit. ... show more

Lots of complaints about the screws rusting and the company obviously listened because it now ships with stainless screws and even provides two extras. They actually provide a couple of extra parts which ham fisted repair people like myself are liable to break (which I did) and so having those extras saved a long delay - thank you MONKEMON! As has been said three thousand times, this is a huge upgrade from the plastic parts that came with the dishwasher. This was NOT a cheap dishwasher - all stainless interior, super quiet, newest technology, etc.. and yet they cheap out on important hardware like this. Makes me wonder when the bottom rollers will fail and maybe I should order the updated parts for that now. Easy to install, the video is right on this page and runs 4 minutes which is about how long each side takes to install. Proper fitment on all parts, height adjustment works well although we never use it. Very pleased for very little money and even if it is made overseas, it's at least made correctly. As to durability, I've never been shy about coming back to some of my 7,000 reviews and changing them to lower ratings if things don't hold up and this product would be no exception. ... show more

I watched one of the reviewer's videos before installing, and after that this took me about 15 minutes to replace on my Whirlpool dishwasher. It is very sturdy and probably better than the one that came with the dishwasher. Highly recommend!
