Preparation: Make sure there is no sand on the mask or tube,if there has sand,using water to clear the breathing tube or mask,once the mask is clean then it ready for use. Checking the seal: Pull the straps of the mask over your head and check the fit of the mask on your face,breath normally to check for any leaks,if you feel slight pressure change when you breath,then you have a good seal,if not,please kindly adjust the mask wire size. Using: Once in the water,swim on the surface and breathe calmly through your mouth or nose,if you feel light headed remove the mask immediately,keeping your chin slightly up will create the best breathing experience,if you feel any obstruction to your breathing,it may be due to the snorkel being covered in water temporarily,the dry top snorkel design will prevent water from entering through the top of the snorkel,if water leaks into your mask,simply lift your head out of the water and it will drain out of the chin valve,no need emove your mask to clear it of water. Proper use: Full face snorkel masks are designed for leisure surface snorkeling. Serious freediving is not recommended. Strenuous swimming while wearing any type of snorkel, including full face designs, is not recommended. Be sure to take regular breaks while snorkeling. Bought this for a recent cruise so we could snorkel where ever we wanted. Great fit, work great, and make the whole experience really enjoyable. You can actually talk (though hard to hear underwater) while wearing them. Just make sure they are on snug and you have a good seal around the face.

I found this to be a very good mask, comfortable to wear, easy to use. I did have some difficulty with putting the camera mount on though, I had it at the wrong angle and it takes so much force to snap in place I was worried I would break it. My only other complaint is the tip of the breathing tube that sticks out the water is NOT higlighted, making your snorkel not very visible to water craft. I'm going to tie a bright green shoelace on it, but they should put a bright colored tip on it. The mask worked as advertised, but if you attach a camera you may need to make adjustments on the mouth as mine stuck out the water more than in the water looking at what I was looking at. ... show more

I love snorkeling, but always hate using a mouth piece. Tried this on my recent Caribbean trip, and loved it. I could stay underwater for a long time, while everyone else was popping up to adjust their snorkel. It did start to hurt my face a bit after a while dome to the tight fit, but not terrible. When it was working well, this was a fantastic mask. I loved having the snorkel attached to the mask and not worrying that water would get into the snorkel. The masks sometimes leak, as they're inclined to do. Usually with some adjusting, we could make them work again. It never fogged up over almost 10 uses, so that was fantastic. I can't do a leaky mask since I wear contacts, and this was the closest I've gotten to a leak free experience. The peripheral vision is limited and odd; I freaked myself out a couple of times thinking something was right next to me that wasn't. But overall, they were very portable, easy to use, and mostly gave us great viewing of the beautiful coral reef in Roatan. Not perfect, but I'd recommend them for the price! ... show more

My face is kinda small and oval like a child's so this one is the perfect fit for me. Doesn't fog up when you adjust the bands on the back and get a good suction around your face. I didn't know "using" a snorkel mask can make you float without a life vest (tested at a swimming pool). Notice I said "using", what I mean is, while in use, you will float due to oxygen intake while half your face is submerged underwater. We bought this set of two to enjoy diving with the kids on the beach. Overall, the performance of the masks is good, it does make a good seal on 5yo and 10yo, without leaving any skin marks. The initial setup requires time, and I recommend doing it at home first to get familiar with the straps and how the kids will remove the mask independently and put it back. After more than 10 immersions, the masks remain free of fogging and the materials look good. We have not tested deep in the water (diving), but snorkeling on the surface with the mask is a great experience thanks to the visibility and comfort of having the nose and the mouth clear.     • Creates comfortable breathing while swimming!
This snorkel mask is GREAT! It is very easy to put on and take off, and it is not heavy! It NEVER fogs up and it does not leak! You do not have to wear it tight against your face. I only swim laps in a pool at the YMCA, no deep sea snorkeling, and I am not a trained swimmer to where I am able to do proper breathing while trying to get in good swimming exercise but with this mask I breath with ease lap after lap! I had first bought a $40 mask and snorkel set where the mask covered my eyes and nose only and the snorkel was held in my mouth but often the mask would leak, no mattered how many times I tried different adjustments, and it always fogged up! Then, I decided to try this snorkel mask. I thought it might be uncomfortable to wear it at the indoor pool because it may look too big or odd but… it works so very well and I can swim so many laps with it on and I feel very comfortable in it! I wear it all the time while doing my front stroke laps. However, it is simple to take off when I want to do back stroke laps and goes back on, even when the straps are wet, without tugging my hair or inferring with my waterproof earbuds! ... show more

    • great idea, hard to get rid

I love the idea of full face masks for kids, but despite my best efforts, I could not get a good seal for my kids' faces or my own. I think our faces were too narrow. I almost got a seal on mine and could use it if I pressed down (constantly) on the leaky spot, but then I didn't have my arms to swim with... My 10 year old's face was just way too small to get a good seal (bought small size for us both). I feel like there was a tiny bit of fogging, but still totally useable. It kept water out when I dunked under (which is a little tough to do with the buoyancy). It was rather squeezy around my face (but needed to get a seal, I suppose). Straps were comfortable enough. I love that they clip, that's why I bought these ones, none others seem to have clips. It was a little hard to breathe in, so you had to do shallow breaths. It was fine enough to swim around for a while but it was a relief when I took it off. I think they could be great if you can get a good seal.
